The best Sydney has to offer

Fantastic stay at InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach. The rooms were impeccable, the staff genuinely understood the product and delivered service to match. The Club Lounge was outstanding, and after a visit to the Èliva Day Spa, zen was officially achieved.

Pleasant stay, beautiful view.

Very nice place with a fantastic location and view! My family and I stayed here in March 2025 (sorry thought I did a review back then) and had a wonderful experience overall. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. Our flight arrived early, so we had to wait a while in the lobby since check-in wasn't until 3:00 p.m., but it was worth it in the end. The rooms were great, and the highlight was definitely the view. Every morning, we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our deck, which had two chairs and a table, perfect for having a coffee and starting the day. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent each morning. We also enjoyed relaxing by the lounge windows with water or drinks while taking in the scenery. The location was very convenient. The beach was right across the street, and there was a laundromat and a great convenience store nearby. Several restaurants were also within a block or two, making it easy to find places to eat. Public transit was conveniently located across the street as well. We were able to take the bus downtown to visit the Sydney Opera House and explore the city. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable place with beautiful views and easy access to local attractions. Locals were very welcoming!

Amazing Stay with Family

The hotel is located in the beautiful beachside with easy access to many restaurants and cafes, it is also close to Sydney CBD. It is very pleasant to take a walk along the beach. The hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated. The staff are extremely friendly and pleasant. The whole family very much enjoyed the stay, each rooms with fatastic ocean views and sitting in the balcony offers relaxation. The hotel also offered welcome and birthday surprise gift to my younger son, truly amazing.

Remarkable experience

We had a wonderful holiday here and also celebrated my partner’s birthday during our stay. Every aspect of our experience was flawless, and we were treated with exceptional hospitality by the entire team, making this a truly memorable stay.
As an IHG Diamond Ambassador member, we had originally booked a One Bedroom Pool View Suite. Before our arrival, Front Office Manager Rochak kindly upgraded us to an Ocean Front View Suite, which made our stay even more special. His thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated.
This hotel was formerly a Crowne Plaza, and since its transformation into an InterContinental, it has improved tremendously in every aspect. From the facilities to the service standards and the overall guest experience, the upgrade is clearly noticeable.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Fiona from Scotland in the Club InterContinental Lounge. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness. Throughout our stay, she took wonderful care of us and consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and sincere hospitality made us feel truly at home and were one of the highlights of our stay.

Luxury by the Sea!

Wow! What an outstanding property and amazing stay! InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach is truly a gem and easily ranks amongst the top three IC properties that I have visited. This property recently opened and everything is new, clean and very well designed. The staff, however, is what truly makes this InterContinental stand out from the crowd. The staff members are consummate professionals who are very pleasant and engage with the guests on a personal basis. Their approach and attitudes made my partner and me feel like valuable and welcomed guests!
Our room was very comfortable and spacious with fantastic views of Coogee Bay and the surrounding areas. My partner and I enjoyed watching both sunrise and sunset from our balcony.
I highly recommend this property to anyone who visits or is considering a visit to Sydney. The beauty and calm of InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach is unparalleled. Honestly, I think that we experienced the very best of Sydney at this property!
