Staff, from check-in to F&B and maintenance, were excellent.
Location was perfect for us and not too far to walk to the city, with plenty of places to eat, shop and wander around.

Very disappointing stay and not what I expected from a 4-star Marriott property.
When we arrived, the room had clearly not been cleaned thoroughly. There were visible clumps of dust, lint, hair/fibres and other debris on the floor, which appeared to have come out from underneath the furniture. Looking underneath the extra bed revealed even more accumulated dust and debris, as shown in the attached photo. The condition of the floor made us uncomfortable walking around barefoot, so we requested slippers.
We checked in as a family of four but were given only three sets of towels. We specifically requested another set, yet housekeeping continued to provide only three throughout our three-night stay. The hotel knew there were four registered guests, so we should not have had to repeatedly ask.
Housekeeping was also extremely basic. The bathroom floor was not properly cleaned, and used glasses and mugs were neither cleaned nor replaced. We called “At Your Service” and clearly requested additional towels, glasses and mugs. The request was confirmed, but only glasses were brought, so we had to ask again for the mugs.
These are basic expectations at a 4-star hotel. Having to repeatedly request proper housekeeping and basic room items was frustrating. This was probably our most disappointing 4-star hotel experience. It did not reflect the quality I associate with Marriott, and I would not choose to stay here again.

Reception (especially Kitty), breakfast services are all excellent. I believe I got an upgrade since I had a large window facing bed, so very much appreciated.
Would be nice to have slippers in the room rather than asking to the reception (though they were just happy to provide us).
Only downside is cleaning. Very rough and not professional. I can tell no vacum is done, and dirty cups are left and no coffee/tea.
Considering very professional yet friendly service offered elsewhere, I was suprised about your cleaning quality. Maybe I had a bad luck?
I'm very happy with everything else.
Just a small note. the tram station nearby isn't FREE. You need to walk to Casino station if you want to take advantage of free rides. It's a bit long. About 10 mins walk.

Stayed on the 19th floor and almost 360 veiws of Melbourne at night was just stunning, the bath was the perfect way to unwind and relax , soaking up the atmosphere of the best this city has to offer !! Will definitely be back and highly recommend spoiling yourself at the awesome hotel

It was a beautiful property. Very close to shops and attractions. Room was large, clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again next time I'm in Melbourne.
