Beautiful start to our holiday

Found this property on booking.com
What a find. 15 mins drive from central Ypres. We were greeted by the owner when we turned up. We did advise we would arrive late as we wanted to see the menin gate ceremony.
Showed our kids a room with a double bed, he saw our kids faces and then showed us a bigger room with 3 single beds. Our room was huge, very modern and very well set out. The shower was wonderful and we helped ourselves to the drinks fridge.
Breakfast was a continental, fresh warm pastries, gluten free option was provided as we asked before we arrived. Beautiful coffee and fresh scrambled eggs.
We will be returning soon

Menin Gate visit 11/11/18

A wonderful B&B right out in the countryside,beautiful,I recommend this to all wanting to visit the area, ideal for the battlefield tours and Ypres visit etc, clean, warm,spacious,good comfy beds, good tv channels, no kettle but we took our travel kettle, a couple of mugs, milk and sugar and were fine, walk in shower, equipped for disabled. Breakfast in the morning perfect, continental meats and cheeses, tea coffee yoghurts cereal etc,
Lovely owners too,very nice to chat too, I would come back again

We had a wonderful stay here during our Ypres Battlefield tours! Super friendly and helpful owners! Great rooms and breakfast, will definitely return! Comfortable rooms with lot of space and everything you need.

Fantastic find

Booked this place last minute and what a fantastic find In the country. The owners were amazing, very helpful and very friendly. We arrived way too early but we were greeted, given tea and coffee while both owners cleaned and made up 2 rooms for us. We were given information on a local expo near called coming world remember me an art installation (cwxrm) at palingbeek. 600.000 small clay figures representing all soldiers killed on No Mans Land. Breakfast was truly delicious with home made breads and preserves. Wonderful kind people and amazing rooms with splendid showers.
