Compliments and my point of view on the Hotel

We stayed 3 nights, excellent breakfast, standard room met our expectations (only need to do air conditioning cleaning), staff let the guests feel at ease. At the reception I leave compliments to Douglas and Leonardo who were excellent in the service always available. We really wanted to enjoy the pool but we understand it is under maintenance.
Location: 500 m from Orla de Atalaia and 2km from the airport.
Note: You need to do maintenance and cleaning in the air conditioning, The towels seem old / worn up need to be replaced with new ones.

I stayed with my husband now, in January 2026, at the high beach hotel for 5 days, on holiday. Simply, an awful stay: very bad breakfast, no varieties, poor staff, warm reception no air, very rude cook, no education. Breakfast starts at 6:30, I asked the reception, the manager and the chef if we could have coffee, at least 6:15 to go to the tours that are scheduled for very early, I was ignored and left talking alone by the chef.
I believe this comment will be of great value to those who wish to stay in this hotel.

Pousada Oyo Alto da Praia

We stayed at the inn to sleep because we arrived at the airport early in the morning.
Because it is close to the airport and the value for money.
But the room is very cramped, the mattress and pillow are bad. A noise from the air conditioning as if from the engine.
Old bath towels.

Very basic hotel and bad location

The hotel is far from the sea. If you walk, the pavement is full of holes and uneven - if you don´t pay attention you will fall. There are no restaurants or other facilities around the hotel. The room is clean and the bathroom is good, but small. There is a very small patio with a small swimming pool and 4 tables with chairs. The breakfast is not to everyone´s taste - too much cake and pastries. The room service is very poor. The pizza was microwaved and raw - we could not eat it! The cheese and ham sandwich was the worst we have ever eaten. Bring a mosquito net if you don´t want to be bitten during the night. We left the hotel covered in mosquito bites. The air conditioning is good and silent. The people at reception are nice and helpful. The standard is more like of a "pousada" than of a hotel.

Deixou a desejar!

Apesar da excelente localização, a estrutura oferecida deixou muito a desejar, quarto com cheiro de morfo, detalhes inacabados e mal feitos por toda parte, falta de simpatia de alguns funcionários !
