Extraordinary atmosphere and staff

Delight at Casa Solcor
100% recommended. Without a doubt our best hotel experience. In addition to being very comfortable, the team of people makes you feel at home, attentive to every detail and available to solve any issue. The breakfast is very delicious, with exquisite breads and very varied (eggs, yogurt, cheeses, avocado, juices, cakes, espresso coffee, assorted teas....). The room was very comfortable, heated, had a comfortable bathroom and also had a private patio. The hotel has open spaces for relaxing decorated with very good taste and in keeping with the desert landscape. In addition to the pool, it has 2 hot tubs that we used and they were a delight that my wife and I enjoyed. They also offer bicycles at no additional charge that we enjoyed to pedal to the Pucara de Quitor and the Quebrada de Chulacao. In short, we felt pampered at Casa Solcor.

Cosy boutique hotel in San Pedro de Atacarma
Casa Solcor is a cosy boutique hotel in San Pedro de Atacarma. It is located just outside the small town. The room is very small, clean and nicely decorated. The courtyard with swimming pool and beautiful sitting areas cozy. Price-performance are not right in my opinion.

A Heartwarming Oasis in the Atacama
We stayed at Casa Solcor for a week during our vacation in San Pedro and we honestly couldn’t have been happier! From our very first message until the moment we checked out everything exceeded our expectations.
The property is located in a peaceful area just 10-minutes walk from the center of San Pedro. Perfect if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The rooms and bathrooms ate spacious and spotless. There are two well-equipped kitchens where you can easily prepare your own meals if you are not in the mood to eat out. Breakfast is served there as well: generous, fresh and delicious. Throughout the day you can also enjoy some fruits, juice and snacks.
The pool (not heated) and jacuzzis are a real blessing in the middle of the the Atacama. There’s also a barbecue grill in the outdoor area if you feel like having a cookout.
Bikes (really good ones!) are available free of charge for guests. Just book the at least the day before and go explore! Devil’s Gorges and Death Valley worth the ride.
But above all, what truly makes Casa Solcor special is the staff. Every single one of them is exceptionally friendly, smiling, helpful and respectful. They create suck a welcoming and homey atmosphere that you genuinely feel like part of the family.
By the way, “Solcor” means “heart” in the local native language, making this place inevitably heartwarming home away from home.

Great for relaxation.
Great property with pools, hot tubs, plenty of room to relax and chill. Decent breakfast.
It’s about a 15-20 min walk to town and the are other options in town itself if you want to be closer to the action. Enjoyed complimentary bikes and staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Good option for families that ma want to cook and need extra space.
