Very comfortable clean old-fashioned French hotel. Bed excellent as was breakfast. Good bathroom and altogether a very good experience

Best hotel ever

everything, elegant and refined interior, efficient Smiling Welcoming, arguably the most pleasant hotel I have ever attended. Now I went down to palaces that are more impersonal with well-trained people of recent but interchangeable decorations. If you like obsequious style, go your way, you are more received than served. In fact, the private mansion looks like an excellent guest room extended throughout the building.
The insulation prevents noise from the street and other rooms while we are sensitive to it.
Close to the dungeon, the Severe, the city center, a park I put a 10 without hesitation, which is very rare, and the following are just a remark intended to warn the reader.
No elevator, you must walk up to the 2nd and last floor but there is a pmr room on the ground floor.

Boutique Hotel at its best!!

Beautiful hotel within walking distance to lovely restaurants, bars and shops along the river.
Room was exceptionally comfortable and well maintained, we were welcomed warmly with easy check in and free parking.
Would highly recommend if your are in Niort, good value too.

Charming boutique hotel with a welcoming feel

This is a charming small hotel in a wonderful old building in the centre of Niort. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very comfortable and the staff are welcoming and helpful. There is a lovely library and small garden if you wish to sit and relax. The atmosphere is calm, welcoming, relaxed and comfortable. There is secure parking but probably best to reserve this. I would certainly return and recommend if you're heading to Niort.
