A must stay for a Dubrovnik City trip!

If you’re wanting to visit Dubrovnik for a couple of days I would definitely recommend staying here. The views from the balcony are absolutely out of this world! It was so beautiful to wake up too The hosts were really attentive, arranged to pick us up from the Airport and if we had any queries they would answer quickly on WhatsApp.
The room itself is very basic, but it was clean and practical. I would happily stay here again if I were to come back to this gorgeous city.

Unpleasant experience

The apartment was dirty, we found scraps of trash from previous customers in the bin as well as scraps of food in the sink. In addition, there were ants in the bathroom and the shower tray had mold. Also the sink of the sink had remnants of hair. The towels were rough and old. We did not dare to cook in the kitchen as the hob was dirty and rusty. The kitchen utensils were old and smelled bad. The furniture in the room was damaged and there were switches with insulating tape. Dealing with the host was practically nonexistent providing brief information to access the apartment. Honestly, I respect the ratings of other customers but certainly do not correspond to the quality of the apartment. In addition to the beautiful views a rental apartment must have minimum conditions to make the stay pleasant. Of course, this one doesn't.

That view!!!!!!!

We have just returned from spending 5 nights in the studio apartment here.
It is basic accommodation and there are a lot of steps to go up from the old town (145 we counted)
But the view from the balcony is just awesome! It makes it worth climbing all those steps for. You can see down to the walled city, all the boats coming in and out of the harbour and Lokrum Island. Simply stunning.
The room itself is basic but clean with an ensuite bathroom pretty similar to what you would get from any hotel.
There is also a kitchen corner with a hob, sink and a fridge. It meant we could have breakfast on the balcony every morning and finish off our evening with a cold beer.
Opposite the apartment are some steps leading down to Banje beach. A bit further up the road are the steps leading into the old town at Ploce gate (the quieter of the two). And a bit further along is the cable car to go up to mount srd.
Perfectly located. We would stay here again.
