Disgusting, Dirty, Noisy, Just Don't Book.
I nearly fainted when I arrived at this property. As you can see from photos what greets you is nothing short of disgusting. It's like a scrap yard. Dirty and Dingy.
The room is also up about 40+ steps up. As you can imagine lugging your luggage up there was a delight. All stone steps, dirty hallway and as you can see from photos again, the banister was having off the wall. Nice little safety issue right there!
Things really didn't get any better.
Upon entering the room we knew right away that it was dirty. The rug was covered in stains, the cooker top (which we would never have used anyway) had old, and I mean old food caked around it, again see photo. The sink also had a used scourer, I mean really! I am going to clean anything with a scourer that only God knows where it has been!! I could go on and on but I am assuming by now you get the message.
We did contact the host, she said she would send a cleaner later that evening and she would come along also. We were out to dinner and we received a message from her to say that she and the cleaner had attended and that she didn't think the place was dirty! OK!! Photos don't lie!
They advertise a city view, well see photo for that too! It is smack bang in the middle of old town but what they omit to tell you is that you are above a very busy back street full of restaurants and bars. These close at 2 am and then the street cleaners arrive at 4 am and start emptying bottle bins etc. The noise was horrendous for the 4 nights we stayed here, we barely slept.
Never ever have I been so glad to leave any holiday accommodation in my life!

The biggest issue was the ventilation. The windows could not be opened, which made the apartment feel very humid and stuffy. The humidity was so high that our swimwear and towels hardly dried at all. The air conditioning also worked poorly in one of the apartments, which made the situation even less comfortable.
There were also no proper drying facilities for towels and swimwear, and no suitable rack or other practical storage for our suitcases.
On the positive side, the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials, and the bathroom was new, modern and inviting.
The staircase leading up to the apartments was, however, very steep and quite dirty, which did not make a particularly good first impression.
Overall, we think the apartment has good potential, but the ventilation, air conditioning, drying facilities and cleanliness of the common areas should be improved to make the stay more comfortable.

The location is excellent, right in the centre of the Old Town, with everything you need. It couldn’t have been more convenient for exploring the area.
Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy thanks to the key lockbox and host instructions so we could arrive and leave whenever it suited us without any hassle.
The apartment itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The kitchenette and fridge were really useful, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower was spacious with plenty of hot water. We honestly couldn’t fault the accommodation.
The host was also excellent. She was easy to contact via WhatsApp and was always available if we needed anything.
The only thing worth mentioning is that, because the apartment is so centrally located and we stayed Friday & Saturday night, it was really noisy at night. If you’re a light sleeper, it may be worth bringing some earplugs! That said, we felt the fantastic location more than made up for it.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay that we would highly recommend.

Location - One ”block” away from Buza Gate, but there are lots of stairs so be prepared to carry ALL your luggage if entering/exiting through this gate. Building entrance is located between tables for Wanda Restaurant. Shared entrance vestibule and stairwell is a bit dingy but well lit and safe. Very central to all of the sites in Old Town, very close to Ploce Gate for city wall access, and a “block” to the main pedestrian street.
Check-in/out - Good communication with owner (Paula) with quick response. She sent me photos, videos, and instructions via WhatsApp so very straightforward.
Room - My room was on the third floor with windows that looked out onto the pedestrian street, lots of street noise and noise from other guests in the stairwell well into the night, especially on weekends. Didn’t bother me much and I kept my windows open, but could be an issue for light sleepers. Room was very clean and comfortable, with a kitchenette and small dining table. Kitchen came in handy for preparing simple meals. Note, mine had a scratched non-stick frying pan but no pot, so limited cooking capabilities. Good access to outlets for charging.
