Very nice owner, cozy room

We stayed there one night with a friend, and although we had a bit of trouble finding the place (google maps got it wrong, so be careful - it's after the angle BEFORE the sports thing, so not the same street), the owner communicated the address via whatsapp and welcomed us in a very kind way. He was very chill.
The room we stayed in was clean, had air-conditioning (with a remote) and a TV. The beds were comfy and the sheets clean. It was not well isolated though, and we could hear if there were people walking or talking next to the door. But that didn't bother us.
The bathroom was small but did the job, the shower was good/closed off properly.
Overall, cheap and yet nice stay. Beware of the potential noise.

Very good

The apartment was a perfect choice, big enough for 4 people, really comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The location was perfect we were 5min away from the center.
Dinko was the perfect host, really nice and gave us recommendations of were to eat and visit.

Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Dinko the owner was extremely helpful, arranging for us to check in early. The beds were comfy and the kitchen facilities were good. There was even a panini maker! The room and bathroom were clean. The location is good, 10 minute walk away from the old town and 2 minutes away from a SPAR. Ideal place to stay for a few nights.

A solid choice!

This property is located very centrally in Zagreb (railway station 10min walk; old town 15min walk etc) and had all the amenities we could hope for (including air-conditioning; useful with 32C outside!)
The owner Dinko is very friendly and accommodating. The only thing is, he wants cash payment; however the amount was only 560 kuna for two of us for two nights, barely £75, so £18-19 per person per night. Very good value for money and the location.
We had a quad room which was extremely spacious. The windows looked out onto the main road which on a Sunday and Monday night wasn't too busy. Friday and Saturday nights may be a different matter though. If sleep is important and you're there of a weekend, maybe choose a room towards the courtyard. There was a fridge, a toaster and a microwave, of which I availed of none. The door locked securely and I wasn't afraid of leaving valuables in the cupboard. We were on a room-only basis but there is a relatively inexpensive Spar just round the corner from where you can pick up supplies for a few Euro.
Overall I would stay here again primarily due to the location.

Dinko (the owner), is very friendly and caring. He proactively offers his assistance which makes us feel at home. He always responses to our enquiries promptly with helpful advice. BTW, price and location of Centar Guesthouse are excellent. Less than 10 minutes walk to the Main Train Station and 4 tram stops from the Main Bus Station.
