Overall an excellent place.

Excellent place overall.
Very nicely kept and maintained.
Staff is courteous and helpful.
One thing though regarding staff- they’re available from 0900 hrs (approximately) till 1930 hrs (7.30 PM).
Centrally located and opposite “Jai Ambe Mandir”.
Parking available for two cars inside the gates.
Efficient service of food delivery by food delivery apps.
Clean linen.
Clean rooms.
Ask for the room with balcony if possible.

Good for one night

We booked two rooms so my adult son and I could have our own. The rooms were fine. Both had air conditioner units and hot water heaters. The beds are really soft. The caretaker, Mr Ravi and his assistant are wonderful! They were very attentive to our needs. Our non-veg breakfast was good. We especially enjoyed the ginger tea. The wifi was good and the homestay provides filtered water. We drank bottled water that we had brought with us.
The building is located on a busy street so it can be a bit loud. The most disappointing part of the stay were the stained towels and sheets. You could tell they had been washed but the stains were very off-putting. There were also moth balls in every drain in the bathroom. Since the rooms are small, the smell was very overpowering.

Ajmer Stay

I had a great time at Shardas Homestay.
The host Sharda has been very attentive and we have even been able to share a nice little conversation at the comfort of her saloon. I even got a very nice facial done on the day i arrived inspite of it being after her working hours.Her staffs have also been really kind and helpful.
Thanks and would definitely go there if ever i visit Ajmer again.

Warm hospitality

Fantastic clean room. The most comfortable bed in our entire trip.
Amazing hospitality. Brilliant breakfast
Only negatives were the slow flow of warm water in shower and the nighttime noise. Take ear plugs

Comfortable

Shardas was a great hotel. Ajmer is not really for tourism. People from Ajmer are not used to tourist (they would stare, as a woman is extremely uncomfortable). But if you have to stay there, stay in Shardas.
The service from the young man that runs the hotel was very good. He's very respecful, professional and he does a lot in the homestay. The owner was very friendly too. The room is excellent, one of the best rooms we had in India. The homestay seems new, the room is spacious, the bed was extremly comfortable, lighting was great, and the a/c worked perfectly.
