Fairytale wedding

Stunning...magnificent place, very well-kept garden, excellent food and wonderful, knowledgeable staff. I recommend it to celebrate your wedding.
You can also sleep in the structure the rooms are very elegant.

So / so . Underwhelming

Very underwhelming. The manager was very abrupt and told us not to unpack our luggage as we were staying in an annexe nearby. I mentioned that I’d emailed in advance to request a room in the main hotel as I’d read mixed reviews about the other building .. he wasn’t having any of it and sent us in our way .. the house we were staying it was extremely basic and the room although large was outdated and had a foisty smell
We were given a card for a wine dispenser . Although good wines - it was very mucked mouse. The pool was nice but overcrowded and in the last couple of days was taken over by a group of rowdy young guys . The breakfast was poor. The upside to the place was the free transport to the main hotel, where we enjoyed dinner on the first night which was excellent . The service was very good too with a couple of very personable fun waitresses
The second night we enjoyed a great private wine tasting. Angelica was very informative and attentive.
On the whole it was a disappointing stay. It wasn’t good value as we paid more here for 3 nights than we did at our previous stay in southern Tuscany which far outshone this place !

Unfortunately no

4 stars ? Certainly not! Beds totally slackened - mattresses with deep depressions. Condition of the room sad: Climate outdated and noisy; other electrics too . The bathroom gives the impression that the last renovation took place in the 70s - an imposition (with glued mold in the shower and fittings at the end of their powers ). Windows partially uncleaned for some time. Overall, it's depraved. As politely as possible asked if this is the worst room (it happens with solo travelers and booking.com - offers more often that you are poorly looked after in hotels ) - reaction of the receptionist / owner (?) outrageously patty, and: All rooms are the same and no one would have complained yet ...
Nocturnal noise from a drinking company below the window at outdoor tables during the week - at the beginning, I was told, on my concerns, that the place was only used on weekends.
Parking in a bad place a little bit away on the road without security.
The place is pretty and the mill decorative - but that is far from enough for the price ! There are better 2 star guesthouses in the area.

Disappointing

Owners and staff not very patient, rigid and not very polite. Crazy location, but not who runs it. Unfortunately, Not recommended. Better to have at the events we care about, a courteous and kind staff. Despite the menu was expected, the waiters also refused to bring the second course to the children. Little patient in other circumstances.

Night at the mill

Hotel housed in an old mill, very beautiful, particular with its own atmosphere, characteristic rooms, well furnished, spacious and very clean, however I can't stand finding 2 single mattresses on a double bed, from a 4 star hotel of this level

Very good location
