The place is obviously in a beautiful location but the little details make all of the difference. The rooms are clean and well maintained with cool Tuscan vibe to them without being too old and rustic. Lovely staff and good food. The pool is well-maintained and the property grounds are impeccable.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is spectacular—it genuinely feels like you’re staying in a movie or on a postcard.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, immaculately maintained, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. We loved enjoying drinks from the terrace mini bar while taking in the incredible Tuscan views. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, and breakfast was excellent value.
The two villages on either side are well worth exploring. We didn’t have a car (we’re from Australia and drive on the opposite side of the road), so getting around took a little planning. If you want to explore Tuscany, a car is recommended. If you’re looking to relax by the pool, enjoy the countryside and unwind, this place is perfect.
We walked 20 minutes downhill to the train station for Florence, then caught a €20 taxi back from Montecatini, which was much easier.
The nearby restaurant, Flavour, is only a 7–10 minute walk and was so good we went twice. We missed the hotel’s pizza and pasta night, but other guests raved about it.
If you don’t like stairs, request a ground-floor room. We loved our top-floor room and its amazing views, but it may be difficult for older guests.
If you’re staying without a car, bring some snacks and drinks as there are no shops nearby between breakfast and dinner.
A wonderful place to switch off and experience the best of the Tuscan countryside.

Love the room. It has a beautiful view and it's got everything we wanted. One thing is that because it's the ground floor, we can hear (and sometimes smell) the bathroom odor but very seldom and we would definitely stay again despite this.

Amazing

Beautiful property, with excellent views from our patio area. Breakfast was wonderful you order your personal breakfast the day before and go to the enclosed patio area for your meal. The eggs Benedict was so good best hollandaise sauce ever cooked by the owner.They also have late afternoon menu which is nice after a long day of site seeing. The property is large with lots of different areas to relax so you don’t feel crowded by other guests. Rooms and beds are immaculate. Give it 10 rating!

Extremely steep gated driveway was scary-limited parking

We stayed in a suite for two nights in October which cost $445 USD which was very expensive compared to other inns/hotels in Tuscany. The main drawback is the extremely steep locked and gated driveway. Our room had a smell of dirty feet and was stuffy. I am certain it had not been mopped very well. There were no real windows except doorways so no way to ventilate. Our towels were ragged. Breakfast was $22-25 per person and we didn't have it because of the high cost. Their communication was non responsive via email and I do not know if they spoke English. I do not understand all the positive reviews and am certain they had this site "cleaned" of bad reviews. I do not recommend this inn.
