Without hesitation.

Very pleasant staff. Large room with a private terrace. Very good bedding.
Decent half-board.
Monte San Angelo is a very beautiful town, very pleasant to stroll in the evening; I recommend the ice cream shop in the shaded square where the locals come to cool off. I do not regret my choice.
Only downside: lack of pads on the wrought iron chairs on the terrace.

There are not many options to stay near the sanctuary. And this is one of them. The hotel is very dated and the rooms smelled like they were unused for some time and with some humidity in it. The food and breakfast were good though. Just for one night is ok.

Excellent location, the room is large and very clean, staff is responsive and efficiency. The free breakfast is more than perfect. Overall, it is worth for every penny you spent there.
We will return there if we visit St. Micheal sanctuary in the future

It really is the age of the Normans .. it needs a renovation... staff at the sad check in... medium low breakfast .. spa on the edge of decency .. shame because the country deserves a visit .. gentle locals .. and under the hotel there is a fantastic restaurant
