A quiet place away from it all....
We put the address in the GPS and went right to it.. It is away from Nettuno but only a few miles... It was very hot when we were there, so we didn't use the balcony..Every room has a nice balcony and the owners were so nice, helpful and kind. They answered all our questions. We had a drink at night on their patio downstairs where they serve breakfast..Very peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was adequate not too much. What they had was fine. The rooms are very clean , had a refrigerator and was older. We would say the rooms were basic but very comfortable. Also the mattresses were very firm.....The parking lot is secure too.

Owner went out of his way
My husband and I were traveling through Italy when we had to make sudden changes to our travel plans... we were headed back to Rome but found that we had to stay in Nettuno overnight to catch the next train that morning. Little did we know that when we arrived we wouldn't have access to taxis due to a local festival/late Sunday night. Once we arrived on (the last) train there was a slight panic b/c of the taxi situation. I contacted the hotel and thru my limited ability to speak Italian, I was able to convey what was going on and he said he would drive to the the city center and pick us up! Incredible!
We were so grateful for his generosity as well as his great stories about Nettuno and their baseball team. His property was very comfortable and accommodating. Thanks to TripAdvisor as well for helping me find this gem as well.

Cosy couples retreat
We stayed in Villa Verdiana in February 2012 for 2 nights. We arrived by train from Rome expecting to be able to find a taxi but there aren't any taxis in Nettuno, but there is a bus run every 2 hours that drops you off right out front, it was just took us a while to work it all out as it is a small town with not very many English speakers. However when we arrived at the hotel the manager welcomed us and organised a winery tour for us, which they provided transport for. He also gave us information on places to eat as the restaurant at the hotel did not open until March or April. They always were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Just make sure you are aware that the bus ceases running at around 8pm if you don't have your own transport. The walk to the other restaurants we went to was about 1.5km but there is no street lighting and plenty of barking dogs along the way (they are all behind fences though). All-in-all our stay at Villa Verdiana was relaxing and very pleasant.

Groupe scolaire
Hôtel qui a ccueilli notre groupe scolaire avec une grande gentillesse. Les chambres sont un peu vétustes, mais propres et confortables. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet copieux qui a ravi nos élèves. Le dîner était bon également. La direction a été très aimable et réactive à nos demandes. Un grand merci
