Fortunately, we stayed only one night.

The structure is a bit dated even though it seems recently renovated on the outside... inside, the rooms are literally falling apart; I don't understand where the three stars come from. Everything negative, move on.

Nightmare weekend

Arrived for a weekend with the family, on arrival we rightly waited for check in, at 9:30 we were told that the room was ready but for disorganization we entered at 11:30 (they made us do a thousand laps because they were wrong to give us the room several times. Now let's talk about the food, I refused to eat several times. Poor and old buffet, sour dishes and paltry portions, I tried the stuffed eggs (1 half egg) do not do it, I recommend it, they were sour and fried from the fridge. The room was just from the 80s, no shower cubicle , limestone everywhere , certainly did not give any idea of clean , We had problems at the door that did not close and we slept 2 days with the door open because they did not assist us. Let's talk about the location , I would also say good apart from the trans prostitution ring in and around the hotel street . Rude staff and non-existent assistance! Never again...

lousy.

Bad experience – never again at the Golden Trio
As soon as we arrived no one welcomed us, we had to knock on a closet from which the owner's son came out, completely disinterested and listless. With two suitcases and a stroller, we asked if he could help us down the stairs to the entrance: he accepted only after asking several times, to the obvious annoyance.
The lobby was dark and soaked in the smell of musty and cellar. Once in the room, we immediately noticed a smell of feces. The bathroom was in indecent condition: toilet splattered with poop and pee, moth nests on the ceiling, shower encrusted with limestone, broken shower spraying everywhere, and bidet walled in and completely yellowed. We called the cleaners, but the lady could not clean thoroughly, so much so that my mother (who has been doing this work for 30 years) had to start cleaning herself.
The balcony was unusable because it rained water from above making the floor dangerous: impossible to let my one-year-old daughter out without risking her slipping.
From a restaurant point of view, a disaster. My mother is a vegetarian and we were assured that there were options for her, but then we were told that caprese was not available that day, and they directed us to the buffet. Too bad the buffet was very poor: at 1:30 pm the room was not yet open (with small children this is unacceptable), and when we finally entered, there was practically nothing to eat.
The dishes served were terrible:
• Sorrento gnocchi with sour sauce and industrial mozzarella
• Paccheri with seafood sauce (only 8 counted on the plate), watered-down sauce and supermarket pasta
• Second: a slice of soft breaded fish, with 4 green beans next to it.
We ate at 3:30. Nobody asked us if we needed anything for the baby.
The dirty dining room, with walls full of cobwebs, encrusted coffee machine and persistent smell.
On the way out, we finally found the owner (who also acts as a cook). We politely expressed all the problems, but he interrupted us rudely, telling us that it was our fault that the buffet was empty, that we had to say immediately that we wanted the caprese (which we had already done), and that with "those few 700€" we could not expect who knows what.
He started screaming, telling us that we would never find anything better and that we were exaggerating, he told us to fuck off and left without listening.
Thankfully, 7 minutes away we found another fantastic hotel, with friendly staff, clean environment, great food, warm Welcoming and attention to children. I paid the same amount, but the difference was abysmal.
I highly recommend the Trio d’Oro hotel. It's not worth a dime.

Trio d’oro is gold!

I have visited this hotel for 30 years now and I love it. It’s a simple Riminese hotel with simple rooms and bathrooms but you spend most of the time outside on the beach or in the city. The hotel is clean, change of towels every day. The beds are very good! The food is also very good, choice of food in the afternoon and evening, breakfast buffet is nice. Everybody who works there is very friendly and with a smile. I love this hotel!
