Great Lodge meters from the runs of Madapow!!!

Lodge was great close to the runs with Excellent facilities.
Was clean and had a relaxing family feel. Staff could not be better they were always there to help with anything we needed.
Was great family resort with runs for all abilities.
We will back for sure!!!

I have never felt so at home away from home! The staff at Raicho Lodge went above and beyond to make our short stay as stress free and relaxing as possible! When we come back to Madarao I can’t imagine staying anywhere else! See you guys next season, Dan and Donna!

Great modern and welcoming lodge at Madarao with an amazing restaurant!

We stayed at Raicho in Dec 19-Jan 20 wth my family during our 16 days Japan trip and it was the best accommodation during our trip by far - the lodge is clean and very warm in this cold weather, rooms are very comfortable, facilities are modern and clean.
The team is super friendly, trying to help, organise lift passes and luggage transfers, etc.
Plus you get discounts on Madarao ski passes, walking distance to the ski resort, free pick up from the bus stop, etc.
Biggest highlight - they run a restaurant on premises, Raicho Supper Club, and its chef is AMAZING. He managed to create a set of great fusion dishes that combine local Japanese ingredients and elements of European and Japanese cuisines.
It was totally unexpected for us, yet during our trip around Japan (Tokyo-Kyoto-Kanazawa-Nozawa-Madarao-Tokyo), the most comfortable and welcoming accommodation and the best meals were at Raicho.
Highly recommended!

What a gem! Everything you need in 1 stop while visiting Madarao!

Such a beautiful lodge! Staff made us feel at home instantly and went out of their way to help with whatever we needed. The lodge it self is so well designed and has a real homely feel. The wood panels are an excellent touch and continuous throughout the whole building. Our room was spacious and the shower was perfect heat and pressure after a big day snowboarding! The location is ideal for keen skiers/snowboarders as it is a few hundred meters from the slopes...ski right in! Raicho even has discounted lift passes! We saved so much and couldn’t believe the discount was so great when comparing the prices to the main ski resort! The restaurant is simply fabulous! The chef has a keen eye for detail our stomachs sure appreciated it...we ate their every night!
Do yourself a favour and stay at Raicho! It will be the highlight of your trip, I promise!
