Just Fabulous

This was my second time staying at GRR and it was fabulous. Though the place is still under construction, the rooms and the scenery are just wonderful especially if you need quite and rflection. The rooms are spacious, clean and neat with soft drinks and you can make your own coffee with an electric kettle and instant coffee/tea provided. There is also a small bar with canned beers in a fridge in the room which you can use at an extra charge. The rooms have a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake that is expansive.

Poor service

Service was almost non-existent. Waiters couldn't keep orders and didn't inform our table that they didn't have samosas or sausages till one of us had to go to their kitchen and find out. Proceeded to then overcharge us by adding extra drinks to our bill.

Excellent location, very poor restaurant

Excellent location, beautiful view from rooms, very friendly reception staff. The restaurant is very poor if not disastrous. Only one waiter who is far from any professional customer service provides. An extensive menu, however, only two chicken dishes were available. No salads were available. Google maps are leading 19 km away from the hotel. Instead of fixing the problem, friendly advice on how to reach out is available if you call the reception. Technically the hotel is well built with quality materials. Plumbing was wrongly done in our bathroom. Consequently, water from the sink was running to the floor.

An awesome get away

The hotel has excellent facilities and breath taking views of the lake from the rooms and the gazebos. The rooms are well maintained equipped with all the necessary toiletries. The staff are all friendly and the manager Nick is also very keen on ensuring guests are comfortable I would definitely recommend the place and will be back.

Lovely stay

Had a lovely stay here. The views were amazing and there are even steps to get as close to the lake as you’d like. It truly is a well maintained establishment with friendly staff, who were very accommodating to our needs. However, the food is quite pricy, albeit tasty. We will definitely be back.
Location was also excellent for one to move around easily within the town but not be directly in the bustle, as it’s located on the outskirts.
