Location is rather convenient with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It took me 12 minutes by car from the nearest subway station (with the traffic). Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had wonderful view from the window. Can see the Bund full of lights in the evening and ships passing by all night. Ferry to go to Puxi is just a short walk away. Room was clean with Smart Control curtains and lights, spacious shower, comfortable bed. Room design is very convenient and pleasant.
Wish were more international channels. Felt like watching a movie or listening to music but the channels were only in Chinese.
We didn’t take breakfast but still went to see the rooftop cafe. It has a great view and there are seats outside with the glass walls, but it was too cold that day. There is a Michelin star restaurant on another floor, for that you’ll need a reservation.

Fantastic hotel on the Pudong side of the river. Central and safe location. Easy to walk to waterfront. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. By far my favorite hotel I stayed in all of China. Would recommend 10/10. Must visit the rooftop restaurant as well!

My husband and I had a great weekend stay at Joya. We checked in late, the restaurant kitchen stayed open late to serve us dinner at 9pm. The room was cleaned on time every morning, breakfast was satisfactory and the view was exactly as the pictures.
