Average hotel, but excellent location and staff. Especially the staff in the restaurant for breakfast. Nice pool, but renovations being worked on while we were there.

Great location in the center of the action, good service, decent room and good food. The pool was not very clean.

Anaconda, good service.

The Anaconda hotel is very well located, facing Orellana Park. The rooms are spacious and have a comfortable bathroom. We noticed that it is a bit worn, the towels are very worn (some), while others were new. The breakfast is very basic, always the same: Watermelon, papaya, plain scrambled eggs, nothing added, a small arepa, a little bread, coffee or chocolate, every day the same. It has a good pool and some play areas for children. It has a lounge for about 40 people with air conditioning and a palapa for about 100 people. It is a good hotel for a few days.

The A/C did not work. No elevator. We had to climib 3 floors to get to our room. We checked out the next day.

Ideal hotel to explore the area

We had a great stay here. The hotel is fairly basic but has large, well equipped, clean and comfortable rooms. The pool and pool area is great, very relaxed and informal. Friendly and helpful staff. It's in a perfect position to explore the area, restaurants, bars, shops and the central square on the doorstep. The town becomes pretty quiet after around 10.30pm so a good night's sleep is ensured. The hotel's Amazon river day trip we booked was fantastic, saw lots of different areas, including going to Peru for an hour as the area borders Peru and Brazil. A great place to stay in this area, definitely recommend.
