Cozy and clean hotel

I found myself here by chance in Koknes (Latvia) and stayed overnight in this hotel. The landlady met me, opened the grounds (they close the gates at night). The room is very clean and cozy, there is no fresh renovation, but it has not marred my stay in any way. Inside was a kettle, as well as mugs, brew, instant coffee and water (with and without gases). The mistress has an excellent command of Russian, was very friendly. I told her in advance what time I'd like breakfast. In the morning, breakfast was waiting for me on the table, and next to me, the fireplace was already on fire. I'd love to go back to this place again.

So exiting, I'm the first reviewer :)
Loved this place and wish I could have stayed more than one night, but had to continue my trip to Latgale in the morning.
The guest house is part of arts and crafts center, so there is an arty feel to the location and rooms. Rooms have separate entrance, so one does not disturb the owners when getting in and out. There is large outside space for picnics and a little river nearby.
There is free Wi-Fi, television (in some rooms), and en-suite bathrooms. Most importantly the breakfast is included. We got pancakes, homemade jam and lovely coffee.

Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, nettes Personal, sehr Frühstück

Hier wurden wir von einer netten jungen Dame die gut englisch sprach, sehr nett empfangen. Von einem Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad haben wir ein kostenloses Upgrade erhalten auf ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit eigenem Badezimmer. Das war sehr nett. Das Zimmer war nicht besonders groß, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Man kannte ebenerdig sogar zur Terrasse hinaus auf dem Parkplatz gehen. Es war alles sauber. Die Betten waren sehr gut wir konnten sehr gut in den Betten liegen. Auch das Bad war ausreichend groß. Die Dusche hat gut funktioniert und es gab schön warmes Wasser. Zum Frühstück haben wir eine große Platte von leckeren, frisch zubereiteten Pfannkuchen mit Marmelade erhalten, dazu leckeren Kaffee von dem wir uns nachholen konnten. Und direkt vor der Unterkunft sind kostenfreie Parkplätze vorhanden. Leider war das WLAN sehr langsam. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.
