Very cozy and clean, good food and wines

We just came home after a two-nights stay at this pension and we had a great time. We really liked how the building was renovated mixing traditional with modern, both when it comes to the rooms and the restaurant. Everything was very clean, the service was good and we enjoyed the food a lot. We had a small wine tasting included in our package in the wine cellar. Some wines were better than others. There are many other places within walking distance for those who want to try other wines from the region. I would return anytime and I can only recommend this place.

Dog friendly? 9500 HUF/night for nothing...

Saying "dog friendly" but 9500 HUF / 26 EUR per night for the dog. Asked what will get the dog for that. Answer: nothing... no food, no bed. That is no dog friendly. One time fee for the cleaning is acceptable but per night is nonsense.

Lovely Dinner

We had dinner here, the summer fruit soup, fried trout, cheese and tomato starter, Caesar salad with chicken and tiramisu for desert. Lovely food. Service was a little slow and the waiter seemed a bit cross. Good parking. Menus available in English. Overall a lovely evening spent out in the sun.

A panzió abszolút megfelelt az elvárásainknak, nyugodt,csendes,kényelmes,praktikus és ötletes. A személyzet minden tagja nagyon kedves, barátságos, érződik hogy nem műmosollyal hanem valódi szívélyességgel fogadják a vendéget.
Az étterem a panzió alatt/ mellett ha lehet még ezen is túltett,gyors és profi kiszolgálás mellett az ételek minősége is hibátlan volt. Tény hogy az árszínvonal nem kifőzde-szinten mozog,de a minőség sem: a klasszikus fogások mellett kicsit különlegesebb ételek is vannak,és amellett hogy az alapanyagok nagyon jók,az elkészítés is az,egészen a tálalásig. Emellett a mennyiségre sem lehet panasz :)
A családi pincészet borai is hozzájárultak az 5 csillaghoz, a klasszikus Cabernet Sauvignon könnyedebb verzióban,valamint a badacsonyi specialitás az ürmösbor is nagy kedvencünk lett.
Mindenképp javasoljuk kipróbálni,mi mindenképp jövünk még :)

The pansion fulfilled all expectations as it is call,quiet,cozy,practical and crafty. All staff members are very nice and friendly,you can tell that it is real hospitality and not that fake smile.
The restaurant below is even better if possible,not just the service was prompt and professional but the quality of the meals as well. The prices are not low, but neither is quality: besides the classics there are some specialities as well, and the ingredients and the way the meals are prepared are high level too. Not to mention that the portions are more than okay :)
The wines of the family winery also earned our respect, especially the lighter version of the classic Cabernet Sauvignon and ‘ürmösbor’, the specialty of region Badacsony.
Definitely a must-come-and-see-for-yourselves,we plan to come back soon :)

Nice room, nice restaurant

Slightly small, very clean and neat room on the upper floor of this establishment. Staff very nice. Restaurant is a major portion of the lower floor. Noise was not a concern during the time I was there.
Breakfast was Hungarian, with huge portions. Dinner was also very nice, with spicy fish soup featuring fish from Lake Balaton just down the hill.
The town is very small, but it's a pretty area--this would be a good home base for exploring the area by car or bicycle.
