Home away from Home

the spacious room, the service and friendly atmosphere, the food, the prices, unbelievable value, , highly recommend it as a place to stay. The only minus was there was nowhere to walk to from the resort, a car and driver was needed to take me anywhere I wanted to go.

I was very surprised, there is a big changement. For the restaurtation. Very delicious and interesting.. Really

So cute!! We've seen a big changement and were surprised of the New gerance! Old Hôtel but there is the reparation of the batiment. Personnal very Kind! There is a New Chef in the Kitchen, a pool and the beatifull paysage is Exellent.

Worst experience in the island

We had to spend three nights (one in the beginning and two last of our two-weeks tour) in this hotel and our experience was very, very bad. Maybe the hotel was luxurious some 50 years ago, but now it is a thing of a past.The rooms are dirty and badly furnished, the linen dirty and full of insects, the food lousy, the service poor. The waiters sold us a bottle of TAP water instead of a mineral one! If not for excellent Dzama rum, we'll probably got serious stomach problems an the day of our departure. Speaking of rum, those waiters tried to sell us the bottle for a price 6-times higher that normal! Stay away from La Residence - the only good thing was a small pool in which we were able to cool ourselves after day's heat.

The WORST hotel ever in the UAE

They try to trick you over the website to have the best offers, the best deals and reduced prices but this is far from the reality. They fake a price of 163 USD on the website for 4 nights, however 2 days later, they have reduced an amount of 240 USD from my credit card!!! The additional amount is 50% more than the VIRTUAL price on the website! That is totally unacceptable and shameful for a hotel in the UAE.
Concerning the stuff and the reception services, they are so rude and don't know how to deal with clients nor to clarify the mistake done by their management.. I TOTALLY don't recommend anyone to visit or stay in such a trash.

Hello, I think this is a case of wrong address ! Our hotel is located in Madagascar, not in the UAE.
Anyway, we at La Résidence Ankerana Antananarivo do have great deals, especially for stays of more than 4 days up to several months, but for groups also.
We valuate honesty and respect our guests ! and we would always try our best to satisfy them.
Our staff always get good marks on evaluations.
Please come and feel home !
