I am delighted with the Misión hotel chain, with its details, but it remains my preference, but unfortunately, the Misión Guanajuato hotel is the exception,
before the pandemic it was an ideal option for relaxation with its hospitality table, 100% recommended for rest.
This weekend I return and I feel sorry for the total neglect on the part of Mr. Ismael, the controller Molina, one of the worst experiences, leaks in the lobby, in the restaurant they have buckets to catch the leaks, they do not have supplies because they do not buy them, nor did they have sugar-free soda, I have diabetes, in the rooms I encountered broken curtains, worn towels, with a musty smell, bugs appeared, I was going to go to reception to request my room change and I was not the only one with bad experiences, other people were complaining about refunds for scorpions and a man was upset because his truck was stolen in the hotel parking lot, it was incredible to hear that, I just returned to my room and left the hotel, how is it possible that they do not have security knowing that the hotel is a bit far from the center, I am disappointed, this hotel was one of my favorites, today I simply do NOT recommend it, Do not go... Because the next one could be you, having your car stolen...

Lousy value for money.

The facilities denote neglect and old age. The varnish on the wood in the rooms is peeling. The carpet smells bad. The mud floors are worn and maintenance free. The deformed mirror. Bed mattresses, cradled, very uncomfortable. Pillows with lumps. The room VERY noisy, you hear everything happening outside. Even the screams of violence from other rooms, 3:00 in the morning. The value for money is the worst I have ever experienced. The breakfast buffet is very bad, bad taste and poor quality. Spontaneous staff, no uniforms, with good treatment but no professional preparation of any kind is noticeable. Anyway, lousy experience and very expensive.

Want to enjoy Guanajuato SEARCH ANOTHER HOTEL OPTION

The hotel is old, neglected, the food we weigh, the 2 nights we stayed we battled a lot to sleep because of the screams in the corridors (hotel staff I want to think maintenance because of the type of conversations) There are definitely much better accommodation options in Guanajuato DO NOT STAY HERE

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL.
I was the victim of a scam directly linked to your booking process for an event, my cousin gets married and made an agreement with the hotel. The hotel shared an official link for guests to book, which was supposedly under this agreement with them. Through that link I made my reservation and full payment, as many other attendees.
After a while we were given notice that the hotel was going to cancel all our reservations is for remodeling reasons. I went directly to the hotel to have my cancellation made and my money returned but the hotel said that “I hadn’t received the money” because, according to them, the payment was processed by an external call center (which they put as contact). Now they totally disclaim responsibility, cancel our rooms and don’t want to refund anything, leaving several guests without accommodation and without our money.
It is unacceptable for a hotel to allow such practices and then wash its hands. It's not just a lousy experience: it's a scam. I can't imagine how many other times they've done something like this.

Hotel disgust especially Mr. Luis Luna, I hope they run it if they want to improve

Lousy to witness how Mr. Luis Luna treats the restaurant staff (waiters) is an uneducated person, a skinny! He talks to them with bullshit, humiliates them in front of us the guests and even seeing us he did not limit himself in his skins, he is not professional, he is ugly in all aspects, we all deserve to be treated with respect and not because he is older or has several years working in the hotel or I imagine... is recommended by someone gives him the right to do that, disgust of person, do not visit the hotel, the waiters try and care in the treatment, a pity of this person if that is what I should call it, I was waiting for the manager of the hotel but never arrived and left my complaint to pass it to human resources
Rooms are lacking much maintenance, toilet was not good, not recommended, I insist... do not throw your money, disgusting hotel
