A nice and central location! We landed in Kathmandu and had just one night before leaving for Pokhara. The hotel was 2 minute walk from the bus pickup point, it was easy to find and the staff was friendly. In terms of amenities, it was what could be expected at this price from Thamel. Decent and with good cleanliness. I would recommend this place for a short stay like mine.

A very pleasant stay

We stayed at this lovely hotel from February 24 to March 3. Very comfortable hotel, thanks to the spacious, clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast included, varied and adequate even for European standards. Beautiful and well-kept small garden, ideal for relaxing with a Yeti beer after busy days as a tourist! The real strength is however the staff, efficient and very kind at every level.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Thamel

We've stayed here before and after trekking on two occasions now and I can't recommend it highly enough. Really helpful reception staff, lovely buffet breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms with hot showers overlooking a peaceful courtyard. Plus there's a lovely bar in the courtyard. During our last trip, 3 young lads were working there, one I didn't catch the name of. but the other two were Krishna and Saddest (suspect Notes might have autocorrected this name - sorry!!) who were all so friendly and helpful it was a pleasure to come back and sit out and chat with them each evening. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Friendly athmosphere!

This hotel is set back from the busy street, which makes it peaceful. You can sit in a beautifully landscaped garden while enjoying a drink from the bar. The breakfast is varied enough for my liking. The room and bathroom are clean and tidy, and the beds have good mattresses. There's also an elevator, which is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For Thamel, this is the best choice for me!
