Simple place with great views

Had a small double room here m/bad and view right to the Gaustad top, small terrace outside, whole neat breakfast. Very good place.

Priced too high for what you get

Stayed here for 2 nights in the main building with my husband. We had a room with view on the ground floor.
The rooms are very basic, sheets and towels came in plastic and we had to make our own beds. We did not feel the pictures on the website matched the reality of the room. Beds were OK.
The general building is old and worn, but with lots of space and different activities available (movie room, ping pong, boardgames etc.). The communal kitchen is large and has what you need, but it's located in a different building. The reception was only open during breakfast hours.
When we visited there was a foul smell in the hallway outside our room. When we alerted the management about it we were told it was due to old sewage system + rain and were offered the option to switch rooms, which we saw too late and were then given a small discount on the stay as compensation for the inconvenience, which was appreciated. However, we feel that all in all, the price is too high for what you get at this accommodation, which (as others have noted) feels more like a hostel experience.

Nice stay in a totally fantastic place.

An incredibly lovely stay. Nice conditions, lovely rooms m/view.
The food is delicious and varied.
Large selection for breakfast/lunch.
The host couple Martin and Susanne are very service minded and good to tell.
You can notice that they seem to honor that everyone gets a lovely Christmas and are good at creating coziness with fire in the fireplace and joint Christmas tree decoration.

Simple and straightforward accommodation.

We rented a “panorama room” for four people. It was a small, simple and neat room. The common kitchen is located in another building. The website provided some expectations that were not met. Panoramic view I would not say we had. Breakfast was something sad with very dry bread.

Perfect mountain sauna for nature lovers

The place a simple and beautiful. The apartment well furnished and functional. Good communal facilities in the form of kitchens and communal spaces.
Here there is nothing disturbing hurlumhej, but peace and tranquility.
Staff helpful and friendly.
Breakfast solid and satisfying.
Can only be recommended
