Unico was a beautiful building in Asuncion. The unit was very clean and nice. The internet/Tv all worked without issue. The view from the balcony was stunning. Great experience, would definitely recommend.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone. The internet did not work for the first week that I was staying here, which is very bad if you need to do any work. The elevator is so slow that I ended up walking up many flights of stairs every time. And there was several issues with the room in general like the drain is clogged, water is not hot, etc. I would avoid.

This place is horrible

I hated every minute of my stay here. I booked it for 26 days which was a huge mistake and wanted to leave by the first day. This building seems new but was constructed so poorly. Sometimes hot water works, sometimes it doesn't. The last day the water stopped working so I couldn't shower, wash my clothes, or do anything else I needed. The wifi turned off every 5 minutes for the first week I was there. I complained constantly and said the router needed to be replaced but for a week they didnt do anything. Finally after a week a technician came and they replaced the router and worked ok. But still, a week of eseentially no internet and I had to work (if you are working remote I would avoid). The drain was totally clogged and when I called about it they said that the drains are just narrow and drain slowly. You could see a ton of hair and sludge blocking it and who would design a drain that doesnt work? . Dents and scratches all over the walls. And the WORST elevator I have ever experienced. It was so slow that I literally walked up and down about 7 flights of stairs each day instead of using the elevator which would take longer. Either spend more money and book a real hotel or get a cheaper Airbnb but this one at this price point is a horrible value.
