Hotel Skala 2024

Stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights in a deluxe room in January 2024.
I liked the hotel, very decent for its 3 stars. The location is convenient.
The room and bathroom are spacious, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. Breakfast has everything you need. We recommend.

You won't find worse service from the administrator.

It's just terrible to meet such staff. I have never seen worse administrators anywhere. There is no word limit to describe their boorish attitude towards the client. I ask the hotel management to take action. I will spread this chaos on other sites.

Beautiful hotel in centre

This is great value! Absolutely beautiful hotel within walking distance from town square. Everything worked fine and it was a pleasure to stay, and would be to return as well. Excellent breakfast. Only minus is the total lack of English spoken at reception. I asked questions in English and got response in Polish (or maybe Russian), nevertheless very friendly.

Great for business trip

Stayed in this hotel for two nights on business trip.
Found this place to be great for business trip stay when you need a place for night and a late tasty dinner. Rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant menu was big to choose from, food tasty and not expensive. Restaurant was also great place to have few business meetings. Car parking was free of charge. Check in and out was smooth even though they had no information from booking.com about our arrival but after showing the approval, they checked us in at the price from booking com. Generally good impression.

Spacious room on average quality

The rooms are spacious. The bed is big but the mattress is over-soft. In bathroom everything works OK. The curtains doesn't cover the full window. No lift in the hotel. The private parking located next to the building is ok. The breakfast is very ordinary, but not bad.
I don't undaerstand the concept of plate in restaurant, it looks like a upside down hat. A soup on this hat upside down is partly cold - on a brim and partly hot in the center of plate. When you're eating something on main course from this plates (they use it for soups and main courses) you have to be very carefull. It is easy to push your fork or knife on a big hat brim and overturn the plate. This is a little funny, but not convenient. The meals are quite OK.
I can genarally say OK value for money.
