We enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge Suites in Malaga. The room was a great size and they had ample closet space for our belongings. The washroom was very clean with a great blow dryer!
The bed and pillows were all very comfortable. It was in a good location and easy to walk to the main part of town.

Did not like having to make a reservation for breakfast. The need to revamp that area you have to search for the food items. Plates get stacked to night under cabinets and you can’t grab them.
Also check in desk is awkward. People sitting all over and you don’t know who’s already being helped. Staff doesn’t greet you when you walk in. It looks more like a concierge’s desk for tours then check in.

Beautiful city but terrible hotel

Hotel well located almost near the center, room cleanliness terrible and not every day (Sunday). Small, cramped lobby with no possibility to sit down and no bar. To be able to have breakfast the next day, you must book via air. Not recommended in the absolute slightest.

New apartment hotel. There’s a supermarket super close to the hotel. It takes only 10-15 minutes to go to the central depending on how fast you walk. The bus station is also nearby.

Fine for a short stay

The room is a good size as is the bathroom and all the fittings are well maintained.
Whilst we didn't use it, the kitchen is well set up if you want to self-cater.
The breakfast area can get very crowded as it's not that big. The hotel tries to manage this by asking you to book a 30 minute window for breakfast. On our first morning the kitchen struggled to keep up with the number of guests. We were much earlier on the second morning, so it was more comfortable for us.
Parking can be difficult near the hotel so you might need to drive around for a while to find a spot. At least its free.
"Suites" is a bit of a misnomer as there was only a table and chair; no settee or comfortable chair.
No restaurants in the immediate vicinity and a 25 minute walk into the main part of town.
The staff at the reception desk were always willing to help and smiling.
