Great location, nice rooms, free parking

We had no expectations after reading reviews, but were pleasantly surprised. It is absolutely a modest hotel, with a small simple reception without staff when we were there. The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms fresh (probably newly renovated?). We had a quadruple plus single room and the whole family was accommodated in the family room in the evening. The location was perfect with a stone's throw to both Ica and Coop and the rest of the city's offerings. There was free parking at the back. Breakfast had everything you could want except eggs, bacon and the like. There were two things you can complain about and that was that it was responsive between our room and the room next door. Also, it was quite crowded about the space at breakfast.

Disappointed!

One of the worst accommodations I have been to ever, in Sweden. And then I have lived in many places
Two stars for nice decorated rooms with details and nice bathroom, but they were the only plus.and comfortable beds actually.
Missed shelf to put her things on, in the bathroom. The SMELL mold in the room, which turned out to come from the mirror closet, which also one door was broken on. This one in room 13 doesn't know what it's like in other rooms. Vile odor! I also have a mildew allergy, so I woke up with migraines and itching, yes, as soon as my allergy goes, disgusting!
It STOKEN like cheap chemical detergent all over the building so you got headaches ( hope those of you who own the place and see this : keep in mind that your customers may have allergies and asthma : WEAR PERFUME FREE for crying out loud! How hard should it be ??!) mixed with disgusting matos throughout the building, almost spewed by the disgusting odor.
Awkward breakfast. Nah, very disappointed.
Extremely responsive : a baby gall screamed 4 rooms away and started at 6am and ended internally, clearly heard despite earplugs. Do yourselves a favour not to book in here!

It was good, check-in was a bit confusing but that might just have been me.
I had a generally good stay, liked the location, room etc.
My only issue was when before checkout (around 9) a member of staff knocks and I say hello and then they simply unlocked my door anyway? And it was an awkward moment. I don't really know why they tried comming in since it's before checkout and I've rented my room.
But other then that yeah it was good

Worst B&B in Gävle

Probably the worst accommodation I've ever visited regarding Check-in and Service at Check-in. Incredibly poor treatment from the person responsible and we and a few more parties who took part in this will never set foot there again.
