Huge spacious room. Clean. Good location, easy to get around. Staff were lovely and very efficient. Slight criticism, there was nothing in the kitchen. Nothing. No kettle. No cups or glasses. No spoons. Nothing. We had to go and ask and they did sort us out with some stuff, but we gave up on getting plates or anything seeing as we were only staying one night. It's a bit expensive, but I'm not sure that's fair because it is a huge spacious room, and it is in Switzerland, and central Zurich at that, so maybe it's not expensive for what it is.

Never ever again!

Charging 260.-, refusing the overnight stay, and then keeping every cent – it hardly gets more customer-unfriendly than that. There was no refund whatsoever. Neither the accommodation costs nor the breakfast already paid for, which we naturally never consumed. Instead, we had to organize other accommodation late at night at our own expense.
We paid 260.- CHF in advance and were still put out on the street in the evening, just because we did not have our physical Swiss passports with us. We could have fully proven our identity with the IDs on our phones as well as photos of the passports. The booking conditions only state that a valid ID must be presented – nowhere does it say that it must be physically present. A solution was not even attempted - for example, we offered multiple times to email the documents immediately.
Absolutely unacceptable for us and definitely the last time.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Good room standard for this price in Zurich. The breakfast was the only negative thing with the stay as it was more or less just the bare minimum and not the greatest quality despite adding 80 EUR just for breakfast that was a mere 5 EUR value so felt a bit robbed on that item. If you stay at this hotel there is a VERY nice bakery (Kuhn bakery & gastro) across the street where you will find exactly what you want.

Basic room but spotless and the staff were lovely. Perfect base for the start of our trip around Switzerland.
