Hotel located in mostly industrial area

This is a modern hotel with two elevators that hold 4-6 passengers with their suitcases. Seven stories, we were in 721. We had two single beds butted together, each with it’s own comforter. There was a small desk next to the bed with an overhead lamp and electrical outlet. There was a small refrigerator, an in-room safe, and hot pot for coffee or tea. The walk-in shower door did not close properly, allowing water to pool on the floor.

Plan to sweat the night away

Don't bother! The hotel is hotter than hell. We have two fans going in the room and the temperature was 80 in the middle of the night. It was 67 outside. I understand the Swiss laws but they cannot cool it. They said that there are cooler rooms but that they cannot move us. Spent way too much money for this.

As we discussed together during your stay, you were travelling as part of a larger group. All guests in the group were accommodated in the same room category with the same air conditioning system. During the stay, we did not receive any similar complaints from the other group members, and most guests understood that air conditioning in Switzerland operates differently than in countries with consistently high temperatures.
Switzerland has strict environmental regulations, and cooling systems are designed to comply with these ecological standards rather than providing continuous, low-temperature air conditioning.

Disappointed

Very complicated check in regulations and I reserved 7 rooms had to pay room by room in Frank didn't accept Euro and my credit card declined in their machines so I have to go to change money in railway station 30 minutes walking from hotel to accept to accommodate us
Not helpful at all in reception
The reception area is very small and old furniture and depressed

We would like to clarify a few points regarding the payment process. Unfortunately, we do not have any information on how the reservation was made or who requested payment room by room. Our hotel is able to process payments as a total amount and can also issue a combined invoice for multiple rooms. We also accept payments in Swiss Francs as well as Euros and major credit cards.
We are sorry to hear that you experienced difficulties with your credit card payment. For guests who require cash withdrawal, there is an ATM located approximately 100 metres from the hotel, and our team is always available to assist with directions or information.
Regarding your comments about our reception area and furniture, we would like to mention that our hotel was completely renovated in 2017 and has been continuously maintained to ensure a comfortable and pleasant environment for our guests. While we understand that individual preferences regarding design and atmosphere may differ, we always strive to offer a clean, welcoming, and well-kept property.
We also regret that you did not feel supported by our reception team. Providing helpful, friendly, and professional service is one of our highest priorities, and we will review your comments with our team to continue improving our guest experience.

Soulless

Disappointed. Seems like a soulless hotel and surrounds. The hotel was the beginning of a 7 day tour. The room was a decent size. Breakfast was good.
The weird thing was the hotel information on the fridge for which food and drinks are banned. Fridge is only to be used for storing medicine.Great way to alienate guests.

We are sorry that the "fridge" was the thing which disappinted you most.
The fridge is a hotel minibar and it is turned as long as the rooms are not occupied.
Some guests put some food inside and it gets spoiled. Therefore we do not recommend to put some food in a warm fridge.
You are always welcome to ask the reception to store food in a regular fridge. We are always willed to help.

It was okay, 4 out of 5.

Good hotel at a reasonable price. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Clean room with comfortable beds. I found the check-in a bit complicated.
