A gorgeous hillside retreat with stunning views, friendly staff, and thoughtful honeymoon touches that made our stay.
The hotel offers a free shuttle service at set times, taking you from the hotel down to the bottom of the mountain, which is very convenient. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite with Sea View and Private Pool, which was absolutely stunning. Room service was quick, and all the staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming – especially Sami, who went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.
The hotel operates via WhatsApp for contacting reception, which was easy and efficient. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, and we were touched to find a beautiful swan towel arrangement and cut-out leaf lettering to celebrate our honeymoon.
The location is simply breathtaking. Although we experienced a power cut due to the weather during our stay, this was completely out of the hotel’s control and didn’t affect our overall experience.
Absolutely gorgeous – we could not fault the hotel in any way and would happily return.

A fantastic place
We spent 4 weeks at this resort and were super excited! The resort is located on the mountain above one of the quietest beaches. It is absolutely not dangerous and upstairs you are rewarded with breathtaking views and fantastic service.
Buggy's are always available for the way to the reception or the apartment. Waiting time approx. 5 min. It's all done via Whatsapp. If you have any questions, you can send them to reception at any time and receive an answer within a few minutes. You can order delicious and inexpensive food from the restaurant and it will be delivered directly to the apartment without extra charge.
There is a hotel shuttle several times a day until about 8pm. To be flexible on the island, we recommend renting a scooter. The resort offers scooters with 125cc for rent, but these are no longer in such good condition. There are several scooter rentals down the main ring road. We rented a 160cc for 4 weeks and were able to easily ride up the mountain as a couple.
We do not understand the negative reviews, after all, you are in Thailand and should adjust your demands accordingly. The resort is in good condition and yes, of course there is a lot to renovate here and there, but we are here on holiday and not to renovate a resort. We also had defective lamps or no doorbell. We reported this via Whatsapp and a building technician was immediately sent to fix the defects. You just have to inform yourself on site so that the defects are corrected and not complain that there were defects only after departure.
Big praise goes to the entire Panorama Team! The guest is definitely ranked 1. Place and you try every day to fulfill every wish.
Thank you, Panorama for this unforgettable experience! We would definitely come back!

Avoid at all costs - please read to the end
Firstly location is awful, you need a car to get to any shops (takes around 7-10minutes).
Secondly the accommodation had so much potential but unfortunately what a massive disappointment. We booked a double bedroom villa, the place was so dirty, we had to ask housekeeping to coming and mop with water at the least as our toddler was crawling around and his hands and knees were filthy! The place smelt damp, old dirty rugs were on the floor which couldn’t be cleaned properly. There was a boiler room unlocked and available for guests to access, it was dark and dingy in there with mould everywhere and dirty mouldy towel left on the floor. Bottom line, it is in no condition to be letting out to guests but they are doing it anyway.
You cannot get around the hotel/ villa area without a buggy especially if you have young children who cannot walk as it’s extremely hilly, but the buggy service and reception area closes by 8pm. The hotel food was really not up to standard so we thought of ordering takeaway one evening, but then realised we cannot go to get it from reception without having to hike up there.
The cherry on top was during check out, we approached reception and they had an American XL bulldog sat there without a collar or leash - appears it was their pet. It immediately came for my 1 year old as we approached the front desk. The reception staff and workers tried stopping it by slapping and grabbing it, but it wouldn’t stop and continued to come for my little boy. It tried biting one of the staff members, immediately they all backed away leaving the dog to charge towards me and my son. My husband went for a kick, but it made no impact, the dog however cowered away under a table and staff finally managed to get it on a leash. We were ofcourse in shock and asked the receptionist why the dog was not on a leash, I emphasised the danger of this and we were met with nothing but silence and a look of shock towards us. There was no apology at all from staff. I asked for the manager and conveniently the manager was not working on this day.
This experience was beyond shocking, and I would never recommend such a rundown hotel/ villa to anyone. The images on booking.com and trip advisor are completely deceiving.

Fantastic Hotel and staff
Place was huge! Well appointed with all the amenities you’d expect.
It took 40 mins by taxi from the airport and cost 900 baht. Check in was quick and smooth.
We were promptly taken to our room on a buggy by Froggy - very pleasant fellow who could not do enough for us during our stay.
Be aware this hotel is on a slope so the buggies really help getting about.
Had breakfast (390 baht pp ) and dinner in their restaurant-was amazing quality food which was well presented.
Sometimes service was a bit slow, but well worth the wait. Thank you Manwell ! Again the view from the restaurant was stunning looking down the hill to the beach.
For those that want to go down to the beach there are regular free shuttle buses throughout the day.
Book with reception and Froggy will take you down /up.
The 7/11 shop has a wide selection of food and beer/ spirits. There is a fully functional kitchen with a fridge to store your drinks.
The wifi was a bit sketchy sometimes but that’s not the reason you would come here. The views from the balcony were the reason. But I did not have much issue with a 5g esim card as that connection was good all the time.
Thank you the team at Panorama Samui Residences ( Noom ) - we highly recommend this place while in Koh Samui !
