Nice bungalows by the sea

A perfect Thai accommodation, fresh bungalows near the sea o the pool.

Hotel to flee

Room room almost no storage, day down the door, the handle of the window but remained in the hand no one repaired it, bathroom without any storage or shelves to put his things, dispenser of broken soap that they did not know how to repair or change and nails the foul smells in the bathroom to the point that I vomited some. Pool room mediocre breakfast table room.

It is not as bad as people say

Ok maybe this place is more of a 3 than a 4 but there are so many bad reviews about this place that does not feel fair.
1. People say the pool is dirty. Yes one of the pools needs a filter change but the other one is clean and works fine.
2. The beach is rocky. Yes during low tide which is not all the time. This is a natural thing and nothing to blame the hotel for. The beach is beautiful anyway and during high tide works great to swim from.
3. The staff is rude. No they are not. Dont know in your case if the problem really was you. The staff was super friendly and helpful to us.
4. You need to leave the key to get your room cleaned. Yes but is this really a problem? Maybe it is even good. Their staff can clean only where it is needed and wanted.
I also saw some people said the rooms were old and run down. Can not talk for all the rooms but our room A4 was perfectly fine, clean fresh and nice. Ac worked, beds felt ok and linnen was clean.
Some people complained about ants. We had them as well in the bathroom. They for some reason liked my hair wax. As soon as I took that away the ants disapeared. You are on an island. Animals happens.
The restaurant had decent food and view of the ocean. Overall a good place to stay. The place is the first on khlong kong beach and it is a little short walk on the beach to reach the next ones. So if you like it nice and quiet it is a good choice. I can understand that the high season price maybe feels a bit to high but I saw the low season prices and they were a bargain. I also saw crazy prices on both booking and hotels around 600euros per night and that is just rediculous. Do not spend that kind of money on this accomadation. Overall a pleasant stay..

OK accommodation, if you choose another beach to swim on.

This is a little older place, and when we, after we booked, read the reviews, we had no great hopes. But there were a lot of people moving around New Year's, and a lot was fully booked. The A-rooms closer to the pool were OK, while the B-rooms further in were more dated. The service at the restaurant was sometimes a bit slow, but the food served was quite OK. The beach below was completely unusable at low tide, and quite trashy.
The number of sun loungers by the pool too few- at least we never managed to get any. Otherwise there were clear rules - if you wanted to have cleaned - you had to hand in the key at the reception - so they fixed it, even if it was sometimes missed with filling soap and toilet paper. And the service at the front desk was good. So overall OK... But then the question - Would we book here again at that price?? Wellaa- not likely

Hotel to escape

Hotel unrelated to description and photos on booking dilapidated facilities bathroom not hot water dirty and green pool filthy beach deckchairs no related to photos chair in broken room this hotel really sucks
