Parking was expensive I know it’s a city centre but when I was told there is just 10 parking spaces which I noted some were empty

Cons
On arrival found a large silver fish - as long as my thumb nail in kitchen.
Street noise is very loud. The double glazing is clearly defective - we were on the second floor- you can clearly hear people’s conversations on the street at night. The window in our room was not sealed, neither in the other rooms. When shut and locked you could move main bedroom window back and forth. So basically no double glazing or so old it no longer functions. TV very glitchy. Apartment dated. Stains on curtains and light fixtures.
Washing machine but not clothes airer so we hung washing over the door knobs in the kitchen. Definitely not worth the money.

Staff were helpful over WhatsApp. Location is convenient. Check in was easy over WhatsApp. Welcome pack a nice touch.

Who closes reception at 6pm. This place does
Well, I stay away most weeks for work - so have tried my fair share of places to stay up and down the country. However, I’ve not experienced anything like this before. Reception closes at 6pm. A telephone number is posted on the door for emergency contact when reception is closed. Called twice but no response (they did call me back later, but after 40 mins - I’d already given up and gone elsewhere). Didn’t get to stay (gave up and went elsewhere) - would I go back, NO!

Walkable to train station and all major attractions. It took us a bit to figure out the gate and where reception was.
There is a co-op one street over which was helpful to grab snacks.
Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.
