Excellent B&B. Highly recommended.

The house is just lovely. The rooms are very comfortable and inviting. The host is very friendly and gracious. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The is a wonderful pub just around the corner that is friendly and the food is very good. The location is great to visit Cardiff and all it has to offer. I highly recommend this B&B and I would definitely book again.

Weekend Stay

The Laurels is a pretty character full B&B situated in a quiet location. My son and myself stayed for two nights to visit family and we were not disappointed. Accommodation was lovely and we had a luxury bathroom to ourselves with a beautiful roll top bath that made me feel like a film star, having a nice long soak. Beds were extremely comfortable and breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. Will definitely book again to visit our family and would highly recommend The Laurels for a visit. Julie our host was very helpful and informative and the price for our rooms was very competitive. Looking forward to our next visit. From Elaine and Tom Wales.

Lovely stay

This place is an ideal place to stay when visiting Wales. Lovely quiet setting not too far from the centre of Cardiff. The place was clean, the beds were really comfy, big rooms, great breakfast and an accommodating host! We had a really really nice stay and will definitely was back in the future!

Quaint

This was one of the most picturesque settings of all the B&Bs we stayed in Wales. It's very convenient to St. Fagans and a great place to unwind after a long day of walking. This looks like the kind of place your mother would scold you if you dared touch anything. There's a beautiful garden and a sweeping staircase that led to our room. The room was comfortable, the bed was a bit bouncy, but managed to get a good night's rest. The breakfast sunroom is adorable and the breakfast itself was tasty. It was one of the more well tended spots we stayed in Wales. There's a decent pub just around the corner for dinner. The parking area is tight and a bit of struggle to get in and out. Overall, a very pleasant experience with a delightful hostess (thanks, Julie!).

Disappointed

Nice place the fact you can't get in between 10am to 5 pm spoils it and nearly £90 a night I could of got something a lot better that I could of used all day Julie the owner a nice lady breakfast very good. The car park very small a struggle to get in and out
