Outstanding venue and welcome staff

This is an outstanding property relatively newly built in the last five or six years. The grounds on arrival are clearly well maintained and the hotel itself is absolutely pristine. The attention to detail for decor, colour scheme and the overall quality of fixtures and fittings is a rare find. We immediately felt at home with this wonderful ambience, the spectacular views and feeling of space and peace. We slept very well on the very comfortable mattresses and pillows, we were fortunate to have booked a suite which was spacious, beautiful and very quiet. As is often the case in the hospitality industry (where you cannot fault it) you can tell the emphasis is on staff training and genuine welcome from them. They clearly enjoy their crimes and it shows x

Great stay in a lovely location with family

Me and my Dad stayed here recently on our North East/Yorkshire roaf trip from Blackpool. Its a mile or so off the main A64 road so handy to get about and use the York Park and Ride but also nice and quiet. Our room was modern and styllish and kept cool with the air con. There is a nice bar and outfoor seating area with fishing lake and we wandered over for food and drink at the sports bar by the golf course. Food v good too! As was the breakfast in Tykes restairant which is where we met the lovely Laura. All the staff were helpful and friendly just a
really pleasant place to stay... Hope to go back! Lee

Beautiful location, superb accommodation, good food. We couldn't fault it. This place is totally focused on making sure each guest is comfortable and well looked after. They delivered on every aspect of our stay. Great British hospitality at its absolute best.

Lovely stay at this hotel - nice room and good food.
Unable to give it five stars as there were only two electric chargers and they were both in use overnight so we were unable to charge our car - thankfully it is a hybrid. Would suggest with the increasing number of electric cars that more chargers are required.

Great place to stay !!

1st class from start to finish ,reception staff very approachable as were the rest of the staff we came across!!! Special shout out to the restaurant staff ( even the chief ) the two ladies on breakfast who made the whole stay even more fab !!!!
