The BEST view from a bedroom!

Just can't fault this B & B. The room was lovely, the breakfast delicious. And the view from the bedroom..... well, there are sea views and then there are spectacular sea views. There are places that claim a sea view, which mean you can catch a glimpse of the sea if you stand in the right place. Here you are so close to the sea you feel as if it must be lapping at the front door - and what an expanse of it! Just delightful.

Anytime again

This is the second time we have visited this beautiful B&B.
The room is spacious, shower small but sufficient.
Great breakfast, very dear hosts.
Even the cat is always a show
You're quick in town and can eat something, or shop.

Warm and cosy on a winters night.

The owners were very welcoming on our arrival and throughout our stay, it is a warm and cosy place to stay. We were up and out early to catch the ferry and a substantial breakfast to go was provided as we were not there for breakfast. This is a lovely place to stay and we would certainly book again if passing through.

Everything a B&B Should Be(&b)

Dunivaig, I fear, has fundamentally altered my standards for B&Bs.
It is the quintessential Bed and Breakfast experience.
It felt like stepping into a romantic novel - it was almost otherworldly.
We were in the turret room - a fabulous wall-to-ceiling wood-panelled octagonal room. It was incredibly warm and cosy with breathtaking views over the loch. The space is really well utilised and makes a pretty limiting area feel spacious.
Louise and Peter (and Buddy, Jasper and Hermione) have curated a phenomenal atmousphere throughout the house. You get the distinct impression that you are staying in a home without it ever feeling like you're intruding.
Breakfast is proper homecooked food - unpretentious and good, local quality.
In a time where I'm trying to be as offline as possible I was so happy to be able to make a booking over the phone and pay cash. The pace is slow and the mood is reflective.
We really really loved our stay here and we'll definitely be back.

Made our day!

Though we did not stay at this property, but had such a lovely experience talking to the owners that we wanted to honour that by leaving a review: we only called because we had a question regarding the local neighbourhood and they were the most friendly, funny, helpful and patient people (despite our connection being really awful). The phone call alone makes it a 5 out of 5 stars!
