This review is really 4.5 stars!
This was our first time in Uzbekistan and we chose to stay here for the first three nights of our visit to the country. This small, delightful, family-run establishment is hidden down a quiet little backstreet, within walking distance (10 to 15 minutes) of the main bazaar/market and a small grocery store.
Very clean, with everything you will need — and the beds are extremely comfortable! Super hard mattresses on the beds, which I loved! I slept like a baby on my first night :)
Only 6 rooms in the hotel, with a pretty, peaceful courtyard. We could hear a few bangs and clangs coming from the guest in the room next door, but nothing excessive. We were staying on the second floor, and did find the stairs a little steep and slippery at times. Just a heads up!
Breakfasts were amazing — made from scratch and clearly made with love … the food was plentiful — enough to keep us going through the day.
Lovely helpful staff, who always seemed to be awake no matter the time of day!
We did order a $20 airport transfer (arranged by the hotel) to get here upon arrival, which was very convenient but also about five times the price of a Yandex fare. You really don’t need the private transfer. Unfortunately, the internet was also a little spotty, and wasn’t available at all on the third afternoon of our stay.
We would definitely consider staying here again, though perhaps next time would like to be a little closer to the action (that being said, I am somebody who walks everywhere, including to the Khast Imam).

Chorsu Inn is a stunning, family-run gem in Tashkent. The hand-carved wooden pillars and ceilings are breathtaking, and the entire property is beautifully decorated with a cozy, inviting courtyard.
The hospitality is exceptionally attentive, and the blinchiki are truly the best in Uzbekistan. With its excellent location and authentic atmosphere, it is a perfect choice for a special stay. Highly recommended!

Great Accommodations and Great Staff
My wife and I were treated like kings and the accommodations were spectacular. The staff was superb and very accommodating. We were given suggestions on where to eat and what to see that were very special. This is a special place that should not be missed

Loved this place
Big rooms, clean and quiet, easy walking distance to the Chorsu Bazaar in an older part of town. This charming place was an oasis of calm and quiet. Great service too - the staff is lovely. The interior courtyard is a wonderful place to have breakfast (or wait several hours for a taxi after checkout time, as we did). I’d stay here again.

Cosy Family Inn
A clean small family hotel 10 min straight walk to popular Chorsu market, very convenient.
Nurislam, the son manages the front office while his father who is also a tour guide is away leading a tour group.
Grandmother & auntie are the cooks in the kitchen, delicious home cooked local meals.
While Nurislam was helping me search for my next hotel as the inn was full, his kind grandmama offered me a pot of tea & seeing me still sitting at the porch in the afternoon, she even cooked me a plate of pilaf on the house.
Enjoyed the warmth & hospitality of this lovely hotel. Highly recommended!
