Can't wait to go back!

What a great place! We stayed for a couple of nights on a walking holiday. Hotel Guri is beautiful, spotlessly clean and everyone we met was so kind and helpful during our stay. A special thank you to Lulita who really went above and beyond to make our time in Elbasan so special.

Perfect stay in Elbasan

Superb, all new renovated little boutique hotel within the walls of the Elbasan castle. We enjoyed a private parking place for our car, a lush breakfast with fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt, etc...but most of all: the silence in our super clean bedroom. The staff is enormously friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate when going to Elbasan: this is the place to stay!!

Perfect location

Centrally located inside the castle walls with very comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff were very helpful. The adjoining café provides great views of the city from on top of one of the castle towers.

Minnesota, USA

Albania is an country of extremes in so many ways. Yet you don't have to give up comfort that you expect from being at home. Have stayed here about 4 weeks total and I must say it's been a pleasure. First it's a botique hotel of 8 equally appointed rooms in what feels like a 2 year old Italian villa. The rooms are gracious in size and have a finish that you simply don't often find. The ENTIRE staff is delightful and very anxious to please.
The site is in the corner of the original ancient Elbasan castle up against a renovated turret that serves as the perfect perch for a drink to observe the street life from above the maddening crowd. The exterior terraces on the ground are intimate and spotless. Room 201 is the prime corner but you'll have to settle for twin beds! A corner with (4) French doored balconies is amazing. It is well worth the cost and don't forget to include breakfast with the room served in the very comfortable lobby.

Beautiful hotel and beautiful people

Stayed at hotel guru for 1 night.from the start to the finish it was amazing .. kindest people who owned it... Best area for restaurants and bars..it was our wedding anniversary and they left. A heart on our bed...
