Solid hotel with great light and shade effect
Unfortunately, the family rooms look very different. Our family room was basically a narrow hose with several rooms in a row – no windows. That alone would be problematic, but additionally the air conditioning did not work during our stay. In a windowless room without functioning air conditioning, the feeling of not being able to breathe quickly arises. We therefore asked for a change of room, but this was refused on the grounds that the hotel was fully booked.
It was all the more irritating to learn the next morning at breakfast that there was no buffet, as only two rooms in the hotel were occupied. Unfortunately, this does not add up and does not leave a good impression. The breakfast itself was – despite the lack of buffet – fine.
The dinner was surprisingly positive: Although the restaurant was empty, the quality was really excellent. The pizza was among the best we ate on our entire trip through Albania.
We didn't use the pool. Unfortunately, the playground is less inviting and more reminiscent of a movie set for a horror movie than a place where children like to play.
Conclusion: Good location, nice standard rooms and very good food – but when it comes to family rooms and organisation there is an urgent need for improvement. There is definitely still a lot of potential here.
