very nice apartments

We were there out of great period. the residence has many accommodation options. Our apartment, terrace overlooking the sea was really beautiful.
Welcoming perfect, we were even offered an apartment in DRC because my mother had walking difficulties and cheaper but preferred to keep our 1st choice.

A glimpse of tranquility amidst a construction site

Beautiful residence far from the beach, ideal for those with a car, new apartments inside, a nice pool with a bar and pizzeria overlooking the sea ...
The problem was that for all three days of our stay, they were renovating the apartments above, so it felt like being in a construction site. They started early in the morning and finished late in the evening, not allowing us to rest and enjoy the requested tranquility. Additionally, very noisy neighbors until late at night; I would recommend it only after the work is finished.

Lovely staff

The place is lovely. Unfortunately our room was unavailable when we arrived but they moved us to a bigger, 2 bedroom apartment instead. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I can't praise them enough. The pool was in the process of being cleaned during our stay so maybe check that it is available ahead of arriving!

Avoid Olives Residence in Dhermi

We had 2 rooms here for the Kala Festival. The rooms were ok but the attitude of the staff was horrendous ( Apart from a young guy who wore glasses he was very helpful). On arrival we were told there would be a charge at the end of the stay if we damaged anything. We checked the rooms to see if there was any previous damage and found nothing obvious. A couple of days later my friend was aggressively thrown out of the apartment in her underwear so the cleaner could come in. She felt very humiliated. The cleaner then took the towels we’d brought with us and lost them. We told them we didn’t need the rooms cleaning again. The staff told they wouldn’t come to the rooms without us there. We found out they were coming into the rooms without our knowledge. On checking out the staff checked the rooms for damage. When the staff member came back he showed us a picture he had taken of the used towels we’d put in the shower tray ready to be collected. He then told me he was going to charge us a fine because one of the towels was wet and slightly dirty and until we paid for a new towel we couldn’t get our passport back which was used as a damage deposit. Once he realised he couldn’t scare or intimidate me We got the passport back without being charged. When my friends checked out they were accused of breaking a window blind they didn’t know was broken as they hadn’t used it. They were told they had to pay €100 Euros before they could get the ID back they had used as a deposit. Luckily they had used a driving licence which they left with them and refused to pay but only after the staff tried to aggressively intimidate them. I strongly advise everybody to avoid staying at OLIVES RESIDENCE in Dhermi. They just want to intimidate you to get extra money

I am still waiting for my refund.

Very bad experience that led to the cancellation of my reservation, but I am still waiting for my refund because after 2 hours of receiving contradictory information and the tone becoming increasingly loud... I decided to leave and I am following up with my insurance.
I strongly advise against it.
