Do not hesitate to book this place! It’s modern. It’s clean and our room with the view of the sea was perfect! It was very centrally located next to a great swim spot just one block away and about a five minute walk from the promenade. They had on-site parking, which was very convenient at no charge.

Awful experience

The experience was awful. It stood in the description of the hotel that there was a pool with sunbeds. This is a lie, as it is only on specific rooms, where you will have to book those - not mentioned in the specifications. The room we had booked was with a bubble bath, it had flakes in it, that they said was “salt”, salt would have been dissolved at that temperature, not leave residue. Furthermore, the bathroom smelled of sewer after showering, the handle was loose and the one small hanger for towels was on its way out the wall. When we sought out the reception and management for a refund, as it did not live up to our expectations, we were talked back to in a very rude manner. Saying that we were doing so that they could not pay their employees and that our behaviour in speaking with them, when other guest could walk by, was disrespectful. We checked out after one night there, as we did not feel welcome by the receptionists/employees/management. Moreover, the parking was very difficult to use, if we had had a bigger car, it wouldn’t have been possible to park there.

The review contains a factually false and misleading statement about our property. The guest claims that the hotel advertises a swimming pool for all guests and that this is a “lie.” This is incorrect.
Our property description does **not** state that Dream Hotel Saranda has a shared swimming pool available to all guests. We clearly offer **specific room categories with private pools**, and these pools are exclusively for guests who book those particular rooms.
Therefore, this is not a matter of personal opinion or dissatisfaction. The reviewer is presenting incorrect information about our facilities as a fact and is accusing the hotel of misleading guests, even though our listing clearly describes the private-pool room categories.
We respectfully ask Tripadvisor to compare the statement in the review directly with our official listing description and reconsider whether this factual misrepresentation complies with your review guidelines.

Good location in Sarande. Wish we were able to stay in the room with pool or jacuzzi. Still our room with sea view was great.

Great hotel and staff, close to the ferry port and the beach and markets, the breakfast was really good aswell, but the room size was a bit small but really nice. Will book again.

Despite the listing, the hotel does not have a pool (unless you have booked the honeymoon suite).
There are no sunbeds or sundeck.
The listing also claims 5 beach bars - not true.
The hotel recommended us a beach club across the road, who wanted €76 per day for 2 sunbeds!
