Beyond expectation
It was excellent beyond expectations. Direct beach, attentive service. Our room on the 4st floor was clean, with a large sea view balcony. Good kitchen, children's and adults' pool. Beach bars. The sea is pleasantly warm, sandy beach. In the pre-season quiet with french animation until 11 pm.

Not a dream vacation
Terrible, avoid it. 1-star hotel, air conditioning works half the time. We always have to ask for bath towels because we don't have any, or they bring them to us at 11 p.m. Very dirty beach, dirty beach cushions, horrible. The all-inclusive has nothing, not even coffee, cocktails; the food is like a cafeteria, always the same from morning to night.

I am currently still at the Amelia Mare hotel in Durrës, where we have been staying for five days, and we have only one wish: to leave. I strongly advise against this establishment for anyone wishing to spend a relaxing vacation.
The dining experience is more like an overcrowded cafeteria than that of a hotel. The food is repetitive, the dining room is much too small for the number of guests, and each meal service lasts only 2:00 hours.
You have to wait in line for appetizers, then wait in line again for the main courses. Some dishes are already gone, and you sometimes have to wait about ten minutes before they are restocked. Guests rush the buffet as soon as it opens at 7:00 PM, and by 8:00 PM, it is a total nightmare: lines, noise, shoving, empty dishes, and difficulty finding a table. It is practically impossible to eat in peace.
The package presented as "all inclusive" is also very disappointing. It ends at 10:00 PM and only covers a very limited selection of drinks. The soft drinks are often warm and flat, while the alcohol offered is of very poor quality.
Even the water available is only still and served from a fountain. Since it is not permitted to take glasses up to the rooms and the tap water is not drinkable, we are forced to buy bottles of water to be able to drink in our room. This is hardly acceptable for an establishment sold as an all-inclusive package.
But the worst part remains the lack of air conditioning in our room, even though we are in the middle of a heat wave in Albania, with temperatures that can reach 39 °C during the day and do not drop below 28 °C at night.
For five days, I have been reporting the problem to the front desk. Each time I am told that the air conditioning will be repaired, but nothing has been done. With this stifling heat and high humidity, even opening the window does not help cool the room down. It is impossible to sleep properly, recover, or simply rest during one's vacation.
I have also tried to speak to the manager several times, without success so far. I am leaving the hotel Thursday evening and I therefore hope that he will finally take the time to listen to me and propose a concrete solution, rather than letting the situation drag on.
A technical problem can happen, but leaving guests for five days without air conditioning, despite their repeated complaints and with such temperatures, is totally unacceptable.
Between the overcrowded restaurant, the lines, the repetitive food, the poor quality drinks, the very limited "all inclusive," the lack of response from the manager, and the impossibility of sleeping because of the heat, our stay has become a real ordeal.
I deeply regret choosing this hotel. I would advise anyone wishing to enjoy services that actually correspond to what is advertised against it. Stay away!

Bad experience
I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get a good night’s sleep. Every evening, the hotel hosts a techno party on the rooftop with extremely loud music. The picture frames in the room literally shake, and even around midnight the staff refuse to turn the music down, despite the fact that there are only a handful of people at the rooftop bar. To make matters worse, the rooftop party is combined with another loud event taking place downstairs as part of the hotel’s entertainment program.
Another major disappointment was the communication with the Čedok tour representative, Tomáš Andrejčák. During the welcome meeting, he seemed interested only in selling optional excursions and showed no concern for guests’ complaints. When we tried to discuss the issues we were experiencing, his response was, “I don’t have time for this, I have another meeting,” and he simply walked away.
The food was decent overall, although there was no allergen information provided. The hotel itself was clean, and I have no complaints about the housekeeping. Unfortunately, these positives were outweighed by the overall experience, which was very disappointing. I would not choose this hotel again.

Beautiful structure, but the arrogance of the staff at the sunbeds is unacceptable
We just returned from a stay at this hotel; overall, the experience was very positive. The structure is well-maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the quality of the food at the restaurant is truly remarkable. However, there is an unpleasant aspect that prevents us from giving the highest score, which is related to the management of the beach. The gentleman in charge of arranging and cleaning the sunbeds has proven to be extremely arrogant and unprofessional on several occasions. As if that weren't enough, his unpleasant attitude justified his superb manners by stating that his son-in-law is the hotel manager. Such behavior risks ruining the excellent work done by everyone else.
