I would stay here again

Very happy with our stay. The hotel is lovely and very clean. It is peaceful there and the staff is very hospitable. The pool is big-- cold water (in April) and though it wasn't crowded, it was popular with a family with kids when I was there. Nice, bright dining room for breakfast. There is a roof terrace, a garden area, and a tent at a plaza near the pool. It is very convenient for old Taghit. Giant dunes in the background!

Satisfactory with room for improvement

A good hotel in pleasant surroundings but our room was very small as was the bathroom. Both in need of basic maintenance. We had a very nice terrace overlooking the dunes. The evening meal in the dining room was good and we were even able to have a bottle of wine. However, the breakfast was very poor with little choice.
The situation is perfect for visiting the dunes and we hired a 4 wheel drive for an hour long drive through the dunes. There is a small local market just in front of the hotel.

Hotel in the image of the manager. Catastrophic, corrupt, neglected and poorly maintained. To avoid, go instead to Bladi hotel.

Nice hotel - small room

The Saoura is a relatively new hotel (that's what it looks like anyway). Friendly and fast check-in. Small room with mini balcony and bathroom with the smallest shower ever. Everything picobello clean. TV, safe, AC. Semi stable Wi-Fi in the room. Dinner a la carte: okay, no special features. In the restaurant there are even alcoholic drinks !!
Rather modest breakfast.
I didn't use the pool.
Overall quite recommended.
