Huge beautiful white Beach and extremely relaxing vacation again
We came again in June With different friends this time who have never been to the island.
I'm not sure what the last Reviewer is talking about with the beach erosion. The beach is absolutely huge and goes on forever until it reaches the water. I think there was a storm at that time and the waves washed up. But everything else is in that review seems like it's been overblown.
We had a very quiet relaxing time. There is a water sports place next door that did have banana boats going by with people laughing and having fun. But it wasn't annoying.
Our friends love the big units in the kitchens where we can have breakfast and some lunches and some dinners . There's so much space for us to play games and sit around and talk and have fun.
The staff was lovely and very helpful as usual.
Will continue to come back as much as we possibly can.

Carimar: Peaceful-Intimate-Our Paradise! ❤️
Anguilla, a stunning island with pristine white beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters, has long been a cherished destination for many travelers, including my wife and me. Among the various resorts available, Carimar Beach Club has consistently been our preferred choice for six consecutive years. We are drawn to Carimar for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, which makes it feel like our very own vacation home. We much prefer this boutique-style resort over the larger, more formal island hotels.
Carimar provides everything we wish for: spacious apartment-style suites with breathtaking views of Meads Bay, friendly and helpful staff, and convenient access to the beach or ocean (a mere minute’s walk away). Furthermore, its proximity to approximately six excellent restaurants on Meads Bay makes it an ideal choice for several unique cuisines. Carimar’s awesome office staff will also assist with reserving a car rental through Island Car Rentals on any day you need and for as long as you’ll need the vehicle (just be considerate and give them a few days' notice). These lovely office ladies are more than willing to assist you with any questions you may have about your room, the resort, or other matters related to the island.
Each Resort Suite, whether oceanfront or ocean view, offers a beautiful view of Meads Bay. The eight oceanfront suites boast expansive and stunning views of the bay, while the sixteen ocean view suites provide partial ocean views, with some views being more picturesque than others. Whichever type of suite you choose, you’ll absolutely love it! Besides, we aren’t in our rooms that long except for sleeping. We love the porch/balcony access and use it for eating both breakfast and lunch each day. We’ve stayed in several of the rooms over the years, and they all seemed nice. However, we usually spend 4-6 hours each day lounging in the beautiful, clear waters of Meads Bay.
If you’re fortunate enough to choose Carimar Beach Club as your vacation destination, as we always do, you’ll leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated by the end of your stay. You’ll want to return year after year, just like we do. ENJOY!❤️

Best place EVER
Love love love LOVE this place! We had someone tend to our condo daily, there were little amenities that mattered like laundromat on site w detergent provided, the condo had everything you would possibly need from towels to kichen necessities; the hotel has bikes and beach equipment to use. My friend and I went paddle boarding on le afternoon. And did I mention: THE CONDOS ARE ON THE BEACH! It was great to be able to go to the condo from the beach as needed (~ 50’ distance).

Not the quiet and relaxation we were seeking….
We visited Carimar many years ago and returned since we had such positive memories of rest and relaxation directly on the beach. We no longer felt that way this trip. Beach has eroded and the deck chairs go directly up to the patios of the oceanfront rooms leaving little privacy. Additionally, the Fun Zone, directly next door attracts a loud, day tripping crowd. Nothing like the quiet we previously enjoyed. The rooms are nice and housekeeping is great. The front desk staff is helpful, the grounds are well maintained and you can walk to restaurants. However, there’s no escaping the frenzied activity directly next to you on the beach. Lastly, you may want to rethink April entirely for Anguilla. We encountered some overcast, cool days that we weren’t expecting. It’s considered ‘season’ so we were taken by surprise.

Highly Recommend
My husband and I stayed 5 nights in a two bedroom villa with another couple. The villa is well-appointed and very comfy. I slept so well every night. The resort is located conveniently to everything you could need or want, like a market and great restaurants. The beach is amazing, and we enjoyed swimming in the beautiful, clear water and kayaking using the included supplies. Highly recommend and hope to go back!
