Really good

Perfect location, in recoleta hood, near shoppings, restaurants and just 1-2km from recoleta mall. The rooms are really good, clean, big and comfortable. The price perfect for all you have. Free wifi and breakfast can be included. Rooms with A/C

Nothing in the kitchenette

Firstly the positives: in spite of being opposite a theatre we found the room to be quiet. It was a good size and the shower was good even if it did spray onto the bathroom floor a bit. The neighbourhood wasn't the best but we didn't feel unsafe there. The room was clean and we were able to use the stairs rather than waiting for the one lift.
However we were expecting a kitchenette where we could at least heat up food but there was nothing apart from a kettle and minimal cutlery and crockery. Not even a sharp knife! Others have mentioned breakfast being included but we did not see this so were at least able to prepare this but had to go out for all other meals.
On arrival we were left sitting until check-in time, although we could use the bathroom and our bags were stored while we went out. When we finally got into the room it certainly didn't feel as though the cleaner had just left.
Some staff were helpful with good English but others had no English and didn't make much attempt to understand what we wanted.
We stayed initially for five nights and returned for our last night in Buenos Aires mainly for the ease of leaving bags and being familiar with the area by then. On our last night there wasn't even a kettle provided in the kitchenette.

One night at the Babel

Thought the pictures looked ok and wanted a convenient location.
Hmm
So the hotel room is better than judging from looking from the outside (I tried to cancel it when I arrived). The kettle had black burnt stuff in it and the bathroom didn’t have a toilet roll holder and the towels had seen better days.
However, the staff were Super helpful and didn’t match the hotel quality.
Cheap so I Guess you get what you pay for.

Central Hotel with bedsit accommodation

Really liked this place, situated in the Recoleta area of Buenos Aires, the reception staff were very helpful, booking restaurants and ordering cabs. There's lots to see in BA and this is in a perfect place to get to everywhere. Fridge, kettle and microwave in the room but cooking utensils not available so if you're looking for self catering look elsewhere. It suited our needs perfectly!.

Good experience

Babel Recoleta is a well located, modern hotel in Buenos Aires. Stayed there for one night with my girlfriend and we were impressed with the size of the triple room and its amenities: Microwave, forks and knifes, huge frigobar, small dining table with two chairs and a good environment. They offered us a Transfer to Ezeiza for a good price and the storing of our bags after check-out for free. This is a hotel I would stay again for being near Santa Fe and Recoleta, having tons of shopping and eating options from walking distances. The only negative and reason why I am not giving 5 stars is that the shower box has not enough protection and water spilled all over the bathroom without us noticing, we had to find a way to dry it all after it happened.
