Historic and damned building
A hostel that is installed in a historic and demolished building, there are several signs alluding to what worked there. A ladder to get you on and face up with plenty of history. Although I stayed in a room with a balcony to the corner, I didn't find it noisy. It was a good stay. Breakfast is served on the ground floor, in an annex restaurant where I also had lunch.

Great hostel in a historic building!
If you want the Sheraton, stay at the Sheraton. This is a hostel, and people need to realize that. With that being said, I had a private room en suite. The bed was clean and changed daily, the shower was clean and the whole bathroom was functioning. I only ate breakfast there one day and it was croissants, toast, butter and jam, tea, coffee or juice. Yes, it's basic, but it gets you through until lunch! Staff speaks some English, but I speak Spanish, so that was not an issue. Everyone was very nice and the house cat, for me, a total plus! Excellent location, next to a small shop for quick bits (soda, candy, chips), a steak house, a panadaria and super close to bus stops, metro and if you decide on the Hop On/Off bus, there are two stops only a few blocks away. I would definitely stay here again!

Good location, poor internet.
Great location. We had a room for 3 with a/c and bathroom. Great price trough booking.com. In the night our room would smell from the receptionist smoking in the neighbouring room. Internet was very poor, breakfast as well. We had breakfast in other places after the first morning.

Nice atmosphere, clean and friendly staff, always ready to help.Clean and neat bathrooms.Large and beautiful terrace to enjoy a beer and a cigarette.It is also a place with very interesting history about the country.

Nice and quiet
Stayed here for a night, perfect accomodation for someone wanting to have a good nights sleep and a good breakfast. The staff were friendly(Pablo Divi absolute champion). They have a computer for public use and it is located perfectly in the centre of san telmo. Thankyou for having me
