Top GuestHouse in B.A.!
ViaVia BsAs GuestHouse 324 is a fine option to stay in Buenos Aires. Communication before, during check-in and after was very good. Simon (the manager of GuestHouse) and his colleagues are polite, friendly and nice people.
m Contrary to other comments, we charged exactly the amount booked, without the 21% IVA (as a foreigner) and 5% discount additionally given when we paid cash and with USD, — Top! The room (size very good, very high ceiling height!!!), was on the first floor in the annex, very quiet what is important for us. The room was exactly as described, a free water dispenser in the pergola in front. The whole area was very clean, the room, bed linen, towels, — pure blossom. The beds, pillows, all very comfortable! Also the air conditioning worked perfectly, although we did not need it. Breakfast was exceptionally complete (fresh fruit, cereal, ham, köse, eggs, ....) very good! The hotel staff, even from the breakfast buffet, very accommodating and friendly!!
We can highly recommend the ViaVia BsAs GuestHouse 324 in San Telmo and would book it again.

The location in the heart of San Telmo. When posting my opinion on a booking website, the accommodation wrote to me attacking and insulting. That says enough about the kind of people who run, manage (badly enough, by the way) or whatever they do there, except keep the facilities in top condition. You can tell they don't care about their customers.
They confuse being economical with cleanliness, comfort, good service etc... something they should demand themselves. if there are dampness, putrid smell, chipping etc... that is OBJECTIVE and you can not question much less insult and try to lower. Cut room and more the person who addressed me with such high-handedness and ignorance
No plugs near the bed, vital to be able to rest while you manage your trip or whatever you want with your mobile. Tiny bath, shower on the ceiling you can't even move to avoid getting your head wet, brushing with the drapery curtain or the wall. No towel rail or a simple sticky hanger, regular bathroom cleaning, rusty sink, as easy as changing the piece. You are not notified of the VAT exemption if you pay by card. No window or ventilation. Zero human quality. Cutter accommodation and cute person. He denigrates himself, his performance defines them. No respect for your customers

Quiet & comfortable stay
Located in an area surrounded by cafes, restaurants etc. There is a partly obscured sign high above the main door. A sign right above the main door would make locating easier.
The staff, particularly Simon the manager were friendly & helpful.
My room was located via a seperate entry. Spacious room offering absolute quietness. The aircon & TV worked fine. The desk & chair were useful though I had to unplug the desk lamp to have access to a power point to charge my phone. Lighting was good.
The bed had clean linens & afforded me a comfortable sleep.
The bathroom was small though the shower recess had good hot water & pressure.
Breakfast was provided in the main reception area. I believe it was only scrambled powder egg that was provided complemented with some nice pastries & fruit.
Overall, I had a very comfortable stay.

Average or below average this place. Especially the empanadas were really untasty and not good. Papas were Ok! Pricewise and servicewise it was ok but not outstanding, so I can‘t give any better vote, I‘m sorry.

Very welcoming
I strongly recomend this hostal for its warm welcoming and its staff. Ricardo is very helpful for everything you would need.
Plus, rooms and bathroom are clean and it is very well situated.
It is located in San Telmo area in a very nice, but busy street, and as the hostel is also doing bar and restaurant, it makes sense if there is noise during week ends, nothing new under the sun for those who didn't like it for that reason ;).
