Excellent location and amazing support staff

I loved this hostel! I think it's one of the best I've stayed in so far!
The staff are super nice and friendly :) They remembered my name, took me up to the room to show me around. They will do anything to insure you have a wonderful stay in their hostel.

Terrible.

The filth. I found a cockroach next to my toothbrush. I had to turn on the air at night to circulate the dust and the smell of dampness in the room so I wouldn't cough and could sleep. The heating was not optimal. The things were not in good condition; the sheets had holes and a musty smell. Room number 3 (air) had a musty and damp smell. You cannot sleep in the single bed that is against the bathroom wall because of the damp smell coming from the wall. The double mattress was sunken on one side. They did not compensate me in any way for the appearance of the cockroach next to my toothbrush; they only told me that they would “notify the owners to fumigate.” The hostel is dirty. My interaction with those who work there was brief; however, from the little I shared, I noticed kindness in their treatment.

Unwelcoming hostel - avoid to go

Me and some other travellers met on the road chose this hostel for spending the week end in Tucuman. Rooms are ok but noisy. Absolutly no ambiance. Staff is unhelpful and told us to check on internet for every single questions we asked. For me the worst that we were kicked out of the hotel after 10am even if you empty your bed. In more than 6 months travelling I always could spend the afternoon like a normal guest when I was taking a night bus. First at 12pm the owner told us to leave the hotel but we could leave our bags. And then when we came back at 7pm, we asked to stay until 9pm and he told us that we have to pay extra night or leave in the minute. All that for waiting in the rooftop when only 2 others guests were in the hostel at this moment.

Buenos dias! Muchas gracias por su comentario sobre nuestro establecimiento.
Nos gustaría aclarar que nuestro horario de check out es a las 10am, horario que es informado antes de realizar la reserva, al momento del check in y al momento del check out.
También hay carteles informativos en todas las áreas del lugar.
Luego de ese horario ofrecemos siempre un depósito de equipaje gratuito durante todo el día y la posibilidad de realizar el pago de la 1/2 estadía si se desea permanecer como huésped del Hostel y utilizar todas las instalaciones.
Esta medida nos permite tener un registro de las personas alojadas en el establecimiento, mantener las instalaciones limpias y ordenadas y principalmente cuidar la seguridad y tranquilidad de nuestros huéspedes.
Como usted informa en su comentario, su grupo realizó su check out a las 12am y su intención era permanecer hasta las 22hs en el establecimiento haciendo uso de todas las instalaciones (cocina, duchas etc) sin preguntar en recepción si era posible.
El Hostel les informó nuevamente nuestra política de check out, les brindó las opciones y no los echamos en ningún momento.
Al no desear realizar el pago de la 1/2 estadía dejaron su equipaje (sin cargo) en el Hostel y salieron.
Por la tarde al regresar por su equipaje nuevamente quisieron permanecer en el Hostel sin respetar las normas.
Entendemos que cada establecimiento cuenta con reglas o normas de convivencia diferentes y nuestra prioridad es siempre el respeto a nuestros huéspedes y poder brindar tranquilidad y seguridad durante su estadía en nuestro establecimiento.

Family friendly

The hostel is very family friendly and has a large game room. The room was big and came with ac as well as heater. They are pretty strict about check in time and check out time and you have to be extra if you hang around after check out times.

Lovely

Could only spend a night unfortunately as this was a very nice place to stay. Great areas to chill out with good wifi, air conditioned twin room, great kitchen facilities and friendly staff. The breakfast was basic and small but with good coffee. Although a little bit more expensive than you can find elsewhere in town, it was definitely worth it!
