„Very firendly host with a good pricing - some things you should know, but I would come back!“
I picked it as a good compromise between expensive hotels and room sharing hostels (I would share a cabin the next 10 days so I wanted a single room for a resonable price).
The host is extremely friendly and supportive. The stay was very nice for me and I'd come back here every time.
Nevertheless, for new guests there are some points to consider. For me none of them were any issue, but good to know anyways:
* Language barrier -> host speaks a little english. Communication is possible, but way easier with spanish.
* The distance is as shown on google-maps. ca 20-25 mins walk. No one should complain about this - host gives you a ride if he goes there, he also picks up from the airport.
* The curtain on the shared bath is not completely "sightproof", but this can be fixed with a towel.
* There is a (very cute, friendly and educated) dog. As it is not small, people afraid of them should think about it.
* Temperature was not adjustable in the rooms, but it was good. Not too warm or too cold.

Wonderful welcoming stay
We stayed here twice, before and after our cruise to Antarctica. Eugenio and Gabriela were perfect hosts they couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. You can tell they really enjoy having guests and are keen to make your stay perfect. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel at home. They are so friendly and go out of their way to please. They offered lifts into town when they were heading that way and a warm drink and a seat in the lounge was there whenever we wanted.
As we don't speak much Spanish we used Google translate to communicate and it worked well. We wanted to do a walk from Cerro Krund and Eugenio recommended one that was perfect for us. We did a day's coastal walk from the b&b, it was beautiful and we saw lots of birds including the impressive southern caracara.
The bedrooms are simply furnished but are clean, very warm and have all you need. There are no ensuite rooms, but the bathroom is just by the bedrooms. The lounge is a beautiful room ideal for relaxing in. The kitchen where breakfast is served is another lovely room. Breakfast includes, cereals, fruit, pastries, bread & toast and jams, with fresh orange and fresh coffee and tea. Wifi was excellent throughout the house.
Cerro Krund is out of town close to the roundabout going to the airport. We didn't find this a problem as we enjoy walking. It takes a good 30 minutes to walk at an average speed. Taxis in town are readily available and cost only a handful of dollars.
Staying at the Cerro Krund was a great experience and far better than the 4 star hotel in town we had to stay in for one night as part of our cruise.
If you want to experience southern Argentinian hospitality at it's best Cerro Krund is the perfect place to stay in Ushuaia.

Friendly b&b
B&B with great views just outside Ushuaia, near airport. Comfy bed and lovely shared spaces. Only shared bathroom but reflected in price relative to other options in town. Breakfast ok, but coffee great!

Calidez, tranquilidad y con increíbles vistas
El ambiente es agradable. El desayuno es completo y se puede disfrutar de las montañas desde el comedor. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias y cálidas. Los anfitriones son muy atentos y cordiales. Es un lugar muy recomendable!

Genial!
Super recomendable!! Genial ubicación, muy comfortable y los anfitriones muy amables y atentos. La vista desde el lugar es hermosa. Se encuentra cerca del centro y del aeropuerto. Definitivamente un lugar para volver.
